We have always loved Sal’s. I moved to Roanoke in 2018 but lived In Radford most of my life. We still get Sal’s when we come into town most of the time. I introduced my Husband to the Cheese Steaks and he is addicted. We haven’t found anywhere else that can make them like Sal’s. We were in town on a Tuesday and Sal’s in Radford was closed so we ordered from Sal’s Jr! Always great food!

These pies are levels above any other pizzeria in the New River Valley. Get the full NY slice experience. Order an 18″ pie, well done. Bigger slices taste better. It’s been studied. 18″ taste better than a 14″, same ingredients, bake time, recipe, 100% same except size. Bigger slices taste better. Plus you want to ensure you have a few slices for reheating in your oven at home. Sal’s slice reheated in your oven at home gives you a second incredible food experience. NY Style is designed to be reheated. Sal’s Jr is an excellent example of authentic NY style. I cant believe there isn’t a line out the door with people waiting on pizza. The pies truly blow the competition away.

Wait time also was good on a Tuesday night especially for it being a big party. stuffed shells were super cheesy! tiramisu is definitely not easy to share with your loved ones because it’s so yummy and you want to eat it all by yourself

Went in and placed an order for the cheese steak sub and some fries after work to go. The girl at the counter was very helpful and polite. I was told it would take about 10 minutes and it only took around 6 minutes to get my food and head out the door. The food was hot and delicious. There’s a lot of competition in the area for the cheese steak sub and while it wasn’t my favorite it did not disappoint. Will be back!
