Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Food was great, service was mostly good other than the Cashier Bryce trying to evangelize to me to the point that he ignored my order to run out to his car and get me a church pamphlet. This happened after I told him I was a Buddhist.

I don’t appreciate being treated like this, I just wanted to get a meal and get back on the road

I have high blood pressure and have been put on a low-sodium diet. I ordered a junior hamburger, without seasoning on the patty and French fries without salt.
When I took a bite of the hamburger, ALL I COULD TASTE WAS SALT. It was so overwhelming that I couldn’t even eat it. The French fries were refried just enough to get the salt off instead of cooking some fresh.
I went to bed hungry!

PLASTIC IN THE FOOD!!! Rude staff!

I went through the drive-thru and ordered two plain meat and cheese burgers and two cookies. It was about $20. I was looking forward to eating when I got home, especially because my husband just had surgery and I was cutting the burger up for him. As soon as I cut into it, I found multiple pieces of plastic inside the burger. I’m honestly so glad we didn’t start eating it.

I called the store right away, and the manager, Kirk, was immediately rude and acting like I was lying. He said, “There’s no way it’s our fault, we don’t even use plastic.” I told him the burger never even left the wrapper and I used a clean knife, and he still didn’t believe me. I asked for a refund and he basically forced me to come show him because he kept saying it couldn’t be from them.

So I drove back and showed him the plastic literally inside the burger, and he just said, “Yeah, I don’t know how that happened. Wasn’t us.” Meanwhile I can literally see the buns sitting in plastic wrap right behind him. I even asked if maybe it came from that and he just shut me down and talked to me with such a rude, condescending attitude the whole time.

I told him we weren’t going to eat any of it and I wanted a refund for both burgers. He told me, “We don’t do refunds,” and then said he didn’t see plastic in the second burger, like that even mattered when the first one was full of it. He finally agreed to refund ONE burger and handed me back $7.

And when I was leaving, he yelled, “I need the receipt,” in the meanest tone for no reason at all. I gave it to him and left feeling completely embarrassed and honestly shocked.

I’ve never had an experience this rude or unprofessional at any restaurant/fast food place. We won’t be coming back. I wish I had taken a picture because the plastic was literally mixed into the burger, and if I’d eaten it I probably wouldn’t have even noticed. It was honestly scary and the way the manager handled it made everything worse.

This was one of the nicest Whataburger’s I’ve been in! Very clean! Beautiful inside and out. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The food was good, as always, and the fries were hot! (Thank you! I don’t like cold fries.) I’m so glad you offer senior drinks, also. Every little bit helps.

The service was great but awkward they guys up front fast and kept everything clean and nice no smiles though but they worked hard! But my sandwich who needs that many onions there where so many and my sandwich looked trown together so was my husband’s sandwich.

Stopped by this morning for breakfast. Food was the same as any other Whataburger and it was clean inside. The best thing was the sweet lady Terra who was working the counter and brought us our food. One of the sweetest, most pleasant ladies I’ve ever encountered. Give this precious lady a raise, she deserves it! Only complaint is it’s always cold in there.

A great location right by Wal-mart so you can get all your needs fulfilled in one run! The interior lobby is big, spacious, and clean. I love the material they used for the tables and seats it definitely adds some flair to the lobby. An upscale look if you would. I was greeted immediately when I walked in and helped promptly despite them being busy. Always a plus! Also, they have condiments at the table so that was something I was happy about. I know some don’t and they will bring the tray to each table and offer them to you. This way I feel no shame in wanting to use 3 packets of ketchup with my fries…lol! The restrooms are very, very clean and spotless so that was wonderful as well about this location. That really makes or breaks a place in my eyes and they passed all my pet peeves I look for in a food joint. I would highly reccommend this location to anyone wanting a 5 Star experience from Whataburger. Also if you’ve never had Whataburger you don’t know what you’re missing out on!! Get with it the best burgers in the business!!

Gave this location a shot for breakfast today. Girl at drive thru was a pain trying to coerce me into getting a drink. Then when I got to the window was not friendly at all. Handed my bag out the window, I say “thank you”, and she says nothing, but made sure to give a face that says “you aren’t welcome here”, as she closed the window. This is a person that doesn’t look like me. Also the sausage B.O.B was cold in spots. Tasted nasty. If people aren’t friendly to me, I’m sure going tell it to others how i was treated, and for sure you wont get anymore of my money. Sick and tired of these young kids being disrespectful and given a job, and i personally wont be treated this way. Won’t be back here.
