Extremely pleased with the Afghani, Persian feast that we got a chance to enjoy here. Ashuk, Mantu (dumplings) and Kabuli Pulao with Lamb shank were delicious – cooked to perfection. Place has a contemporary feel with chandeliers and green plants. Service was amazing!!

Dude did his best, only one server and he gonna take care of 5 maybe 6 groups of customers, and take out orders. Respect.
We did waited a bit long on the foods, but as I said it’s ok, the dumping tastes amazing, lamb shank on rice, extremely tender, and over seasoned on the lamb shanks. The grilled rice plate is great. Prefect on seasoning as well.

I’ve been to places like Texas, Niagara Falls, Vancouver, and Calgary, and I’ve tried many Arabic, Indian, and Iranian restaurants, but this place is truly different.
The Qabuli Plov here has an amazing, authentic taste that really stands out. You can feel the quality and care in every bite.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for something special and unforgettable — especially Jamal, he is a very kind and professional person.

The waiter was super rude and almost shouted on us asking “what else do you need” while he wasn’t serving properly. That was not the main concern.
The main concern was the rice was extremely oily. Just take a look at the pictures. This last leftover rice with that much oil is not appropriate to serve to anyone. We told the waiter about it and he said I’ll let my manager know. He said you have to pay full price and offered us one free Qabell palaw ($25.75) in our next visit but no discount on the current transaction.
At this point where the waiter was rude, the food was extremely oily and the waiter did not offered us appropriate service, we didn’t take any coupon or anything.
We are never going to Mantu ever again.

Praise-worthy food and dining experience. Jed was awesome. And the people behind the wonderful food deserve applause as well. It was our first time trying such food together with visiting friends from Winnipeg who can tell the authenticity of food. Everything was so good that even our kids enjoyed their experience. The food tasted exceptional and we devoured it all. Excellently priced. Photos to support how it looked in the beginning but failed to take a photo of the stack of plates that barely have any trace. It was that great!

The food was absolutely incredible! The lamb shank with rice was hands down the best I’ve ever had in my life. Every member of my group was completely captivated by the amazing flavors. Even though the restaurant was bustling, the waiter and kitchen staff managed everything flawlessly, even treating us to a delicious dessert while we waited! Honestly, I think the wait only made the experience more thrilling—it was definitely worth it for such mouthwatering dishes. This is without a doubt the first place I’ll rush to when I return to Victoria!

Im not sure what it’s like in the restaurant, but I can’t recommend ordering delivery from this place.
The food is delicious, no qualms about that, but nothing is good enough to make up for $8.75 of missing food. I’ve ordered the same dish 5 times now, the kebab Koobideh, because it tastes incredible! But not once has it come with potatoes like requested. Fine, no big deal. The rice is really good. But 3 different times my order was also missing my drink, the sauce, and the extra skewer I paid for.
$11.25 of missing food is unacceptable, especially more than once in the 5 times ive ordered here.
Again, I can’t speak for how it is in the restaurant, but don’t order from here if you expect to get what you ask and paid for. So dissapointing.
