Excellent service, beautiful décor.
Our group of 5 enjoyed the entire experience. The green avocado sauce served with the chips is delicious.
I had the fish of the day tacos that were served with a generous side of slaw. The rice and black beans had rich flavor.

I visited for a friend’s birthday celebration and had an amazing experience. The cocktails were flavorful, the meals were satisfying, and the staff made us feel welcome the entire time. Everything came together perfectly for a fun and memorable outing.

Mesero is a top 3 Mexican restaurant. The service is excellent, balancing friendly engagement while not being obtrusive. The dining room feels a bit tight to me, but if you like a more “crowded” feeling you’ll love it. It’s not overly loud, which surprised me. The food is very good. I ordered the ribeye. It wasn’t as flavorful as I expected but a pinch of salt helped it. The salsas are delicious. If you put Mesero on your rotation, you’ll be glad you did.

I ordered to go & paid $38 for lukewarm queso with spinach that had the thick consistency of glue. I was told to heat it up when I got home. I had brisket tacos that were soggy from cabbage & when I got home had to warm up all my food tiny spoonful of beans too. I threw away the warm soggy food and I live nearby so definitely not worth it. Carrot cake was pretty good. Overall underwhelmed & not worth it.

We ordered fajitas among 3 other dishes and all were bad. The fajita was just chicken and beans served on a plate with avocado and tomato on a separate plate. No sour cream and the corn bread was in all true not eatable. No fajita spices on the chicken or sizzling when served. It was bad. But the server was great. The chips and salsa was good.

I came for brunch with some friends. The chips and three dips were pretty good. My breakfast sandwich was fine, but not amazing. The same goes for the bloody mary I ordered. Our server was great, though. Very friendly. I’ll have to come back and try their normal menu. It looks like they have some interesting options

We had an overall decent experience here. The food was enjoyable, though it didn’t particularly stand out compared to other Mexican restaurants in Dallas. Unfortunately, service was a bit lacking—we had to flag down the hostess after our server forgot about us.

For an appetizer, we ordered the Nachos Conocidos with asada, which were flavorful, The only downside was that the meat was a big tough, as asada is, making the dish messier to eat than expected.
-For entrées, we tried the Combinacione #5, which included a Tijuana-style cheese enchilada with chili sauce, a brisket taco topped with lettuce, tomato, and cheese, along with the mesero slaw and green rice in place of the standard arroz rojo. We also ordered the Cremaqueso enchiladas paired with another brisket taco. Both meals were solid, the chicken enchiladas were delicious, though nothing particularly standing out.
– To finish, we had the Cinco Leches cake. It was decent, but again, didn’t leave a lasting impression.

Overall, the visit was fine, but between the uneven service and average food, it’s not a place we’d rush back to.
