I had a horrible experience here. The food was AWFUL ! The ribs were hard and cold. I asked for another rack of ribs which were made better and hot but rubbery. The Mac and cheese was horrible. It seems like powder cheese with water on top. The collard greens were tasteless. This was by far the worst cheat meal worst $66 I could’ve spent. I will say that the cashier did try to assist and make it better but I am extremely disappointed and if I ever go to bubba and franks it will be at another location.

Had the Clcheeseburger with bubba sauce, fries and smoked wings. The stinging honey garlic wings was a win! But the ranch stole the show, lol. Its a plus for all ranch lovers. Will definitely visit again.

I enjoyed my meal. The beans were sweet and barbecuey, just like I like them with BBQ. The cole slaw was finely chopped and sweet. I adored the brisket that I had. It had a glaze on it that reminded me of Korean BBQ. It was so good. The hush puppies had a nice pillow texture and sweetness to them. Not so much a crunch, like I’m used to but they were still good. My hubby was raving about his onion rings. They were perfect.

Had an amazing time at Bubba-n-Frank’s on a rainy day in Portsmouth. Rose took our order and was so welcoming, offering samples (pictured) Some of the best service I’ve ever had. Felt like family! ❤️
Ordered the NC Style Pulled Pork with the New Brunswick stew, and Mac n Cheese and Hush puppies. Forgot to get pictures of the full meal because everything was really tasty. The New Brunswick stew was so flavorful! Highly recommend
My partner ordered the Chicken BBQ Sandwich with the Chicken and Dumplings, also sampled and highly recommended.
Finished off with a slice of Cheesecake and Banana Pudding, both highly recommended!
Definitely will be coming again!

First time visited. Great place to eat. Delicious! Family friendly. Cashier gave great clarifying information. Side options were amazing(I chose the Cob, and sweet potato wedges) the wedges were maybe the best I’ve ever had. Chopped Pork was really great also, 6 sauce options. I tried 4, minus the hot(Pete) and vinegar. I enjoyed all the sauces. This really is a family run business, that had great music playing perfectly in the background. I will definitely return and try some more of their meals.
