Can never recommend SBS enough! Tonight I’m finally writing a review after the exceptional service and care my family received tonight! We were celebrating my aunt’s 1 year anniversary from her cancer surgery. We decided to go to SBS instead of our original plan pretty last minute. They were able to accommodate us earlier than our reservation (when we intended to hang out at the bar for a bit) on a Friday night, they provided a celebratory glass of rosé for the 4 of us and even comped 2 of our desserts. All of which they of course did not have to do nor was it ever expected!! Thank you so much, Chelsea and Joe for your hospitality and kindness on such a special celebration for us after such a rough year! Every time my husband and I have come the service is amazing and the food is TO DIE FOR! Perfect every time! Lucky to have this gem as a Brighton local!

Food & Service were spectacular. Delia was a fantastic server. I highly recommend this restaurant. Best steak I’ve had out in a very long time. Best wedge salad, Best roasted carrots, lyonnaise potato & horseradish crema. The calamari & lobster with artichoke dip was outstanding. The desserts & drinks were unique, creative & so delicious we all had to share. Wow. I’m definitely going back.

Randomly picked this place with a friend. The experience started out by the hostess helping us get a table when they showed full online for reservations. She was so sweet and helpful, it meant a lot!! Next I was amazed by the decor and atmosphere. Mike was our waiter & he was beyonddddd amazing. We loved him so much!!!! Burger was great, the fries that came with it were overly seasoned/salty if you are sensitive to that kind of thing be aware. The cocktails were great but I was not happy that a short one I got from the bar was $25!!! This isn’t Miami but most things in Brighton are overpriced in my opinion. You are basically paying for the experience & I would do it again as a special treat!

This was a welcome discovery and oasis on a lonely night of business travel far away from home. Drinks and food alike were knowledgeably prepared and clearly required impressive and careful work: their standard far exceeds anything else along this strip. The bartender particularly impressed with an outstanding whiskey sour and a perfect pairing of a sauvignon blanc whose acidity cut through the richness of the scallop dish that I ordered. I could perhaps quibble about a few elements of the food: the soup was a touch too salty and I think the scallops might have worked better as a half-sized tapas order, but these are minor issues with delicious and thoughtfully composed dishes that brought plenty of joy and a very full belly. Recommended!

Hubby and I dined here our first time to celebrate our anniversary. Our experience top to bottom was exceptional. I will say their food IS pricey so I would consider this more of a special occasion restaurant for us.

We like to sample multiple items when dining out.
*To start we had their bread, which was deliciously soft and topped with a well seasoned butter.
*Hubby ordered their shrimp cocktail (I’m not a seafood fan) and thoroughly enjoyed it. At first he was hesitant because it’s a grilled and chilled shrimp, not a traditional boiled and chilled shrimp, and he wasn’t sure how that would affect it’s taste but he loved it.
*We then shared the wedge salad. Our server had the kitchen split the salad for us and I’m glad she did; half was plenty for us to split so we took the rest home. The roasted tomatoes on the salad were a nice change from traditional chilled ones, bacon was crispy, fried onions were a nice addition and the bleu cheese dressing was the perfect amount of funk without being overpowering.
*I ordered the filet and it was, no joke, probably the best steak I’ve had in my life. The meat was tender enough to cut with my fork and it was cooked perfectly. It was seasoned with an incredible coarse pepper rub that really set off the flavors. I added the zip sauce…amazing! My side was brussel sprouts and they were seasoned well and perfectly crisp.
*Hubby had the delmonico ribeye and also thought his steak was spot on. Perfectly cooked and he ordered the chimichurri on the side, which was light and refreshing and just damn good. His side was the mushrooms and the portion was large and delicious. He also added on a wonderful lobster tail, which was about $32.
*We ended our meal by sharing the chocolate cake and coffee. The cake had a bourbon strawberry sauce to top (yum!). We also enjoyed coffee with our cake. To keep the coffee fresh, it’s made to order using a French press which means we got 4 cups instead of 2 and that was fine.

All in all, our meal was absolutely wonderful top to bottom. We will definitely return but not indulge as much next time. Our bill was $330 (before tip) which isn’t a standard dinner for us; however, this included 3 drinks for each of us which adds up quickly too.

This place never lets me down! I wish I could give a higher rating. I recommend the surf and turf, Duck potatoes and any steak! The bread is my ALL TIME FAVORITE

Our forth and likely final visit to Single Barrel Social was disappointing and underwhelming compared to the prior three visits. Service was good but there was a new menu, a new Chef, new recipes and seemingly new sources for the beef that we ordered previously. The revised menu added some new options. The Brown Liquor selection did not seem to change and is extensive. The food this time is what was significantly problematic, not all of it fortunately. I will review it here in the order received. We started with Calamari and the yeast rolls. The Calamari was soggy not crispy as implied in the Crispy Calamari name on the menu. As stated on the menu, olive oil is incorporated which may explain the lack of crispy, however the overwhelming flavor was that of Fryer Oil, and slightly burnt, tired fryer oil at that. We’ve had better calamari just about everywhere. The fresh baked parker house style rolls were on the gummy side, similar to bread sticks at lower end restaurant’s, but slightly better with a yeasty flavor. I would prefer that restaurant’s just buy quality bread from a quality bakery and serve that sliced instead. Good bread is increasingly difficult to find. The beet salad was very good, the carrots were very good and the collard greens were fabulous though probably not so healthy given the bacon content. Compared to our prior three visits, the Sirloin Steak was disappointing. What had been a lean and well charred piece of beef was now noticeably less charred when ordered medium well, was far less lean, with lots of stringy fat making it less appetizing. It was served more wet than charred as in the past. My wife had five bites that she could not eat due to stringy fat. I suspect that both the cooking technique and the beef supplier had changed, and not for the better. The wild mushrooms seemed more plentiful in portion size but had a woodiness that was not there in our prior visits. A different source, different cooking method or perhaps both. Lastly, the Lyonnaise potatoes, which are often described as crispy, were very wet and gooey with too much wet cheese. They seemed more like steamed potatoes than fried potatoes. They also were over seasoned with garlic, and I really like garlic but this was too much. We mentioned the issue with the calamari to both the waitress and the Chef who stopped by but kept the rest of our critical review to ourselves at this time, since it was our wedding anniversary and we did not want to spoil the mood with our critical food review. That completes this review of Single Barrel Social from our October 11. 2025 visit. In summary, mostly 3 star food at a 4 star price.

Went for Valentine’s Day and was blown away! They did a coursed style dinner and it was divine. This is our favorite date night spot, so this was a fun change up from getting their normal menu, which is also amazing. Presentation was on point. Also, our server was so great. He was funny and polite, explained the dishes and was present without ever being overbearing. Can’t get enough of this place!

Found this place on Google as it was close to my hotel. Stopped in for a late dinner/drinks. I was greeted by a girl who was extremely kind. I sat at the bar since it was only me and the staff working the bar was also kind. The drink (pretty sure it was called The Elder Flower) was fantastic. I also got a filet mignon, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The atmosphere is wonderful. Moody, quiet (could have been because I was there later), and relaxing. It was a nice end to a day of travel and work. I would highly recommend.

Overall, great food and drinks. It took a while to order our food, but it was during the dinner rush so that was understandable. The whiskey sour was well made and the flavors were balanced. Steak was perfectly cooked to order. All seafood was delicious too!

The atmosphere was very romantic and sophisticated. We were very relaxed and were able to focus on the conversation.

I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to try it.
