We loved this place! We took my son to the Elmwood Zoo and felt like Mexican food afterward. The ambience is amazing—with colorful paintings and decor all around you!
Even the chair backs are decorated! We had the quesadilla, fajitas mixtos, and enchiladas—all delicious and the portions were HUGE! The waitress and owner/manager were very friendly and came over several times to check on us. Mexican music filled the air as we ate. If you’re ever in the Norristown area, stop in enjoy this restaurant. ¡Una experiencia deliciosa!

The staff is so nice and the music at the bar is love but a tad loud sometimes. Best mexican restaurant I’ve been to. We found this place on tictok. So glad we did. Food was amazing, atmosphere great and service fantastic. The menu was on tablets that not only had pictures but also has an English translator. For me that was an awesome feature. The waiter willing answered all of our questions and even made great suggestions. Definitely will be returning.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Portions are huge! Cemitas, molcajete, mussels and dessert are all delicious, as is the michelada. Shrimp was cooked to perfection in the molcajete. Can’t wait to try a new dish next time!

Yesterday, my partner and I traveled an hour to eat at this restaurant because we follow them on social media. The food was delicious, as were the drinks. The only issue was with our waitress, who didn’t speak English and was unable to provide us with proper service. Another waitress who did speak English had to step in. How is it possible that they would assign someone to serve customers if they don’t speak the language? In the end, we wanted dessert, but the waitress couldn’t understand us, so we decided to just ask for the bill.

Good size menu, had the fajita and and mole de olla and the we’re pretty good but the seafood cocktail was literally bad, it smelled funny so I would suggest not to eat that and it took way too long. You know this place is authentic when everyone around you are speaking Spanish instead of English including waitstaff. 3.5stars on average.

Elmwood zoo is going through major construction. Despite the renovations being done, my 4 and 7 year old always enjoy themselves here at the zoo. No complaints about the food, snacks or adult beverages. There is a shuttle that can take you from the parking lot to your car, and from the zoo exit back to your car.
It’s nice to have cash on you when you visit( one’s, maybe ten bucks or so) to donate to the many vendors on duty, band/ painters/ certain animal causes, donation bin/ centers, etc. The kids always have fun at the playground, and the animals are always alert and may pop up for a selfie.

I’ve heard about this restaurant on the radio and on social media. I finally made it in person. The food options are amazing. The drinks as well. Nicely decorated and the service excellent. Our bartender was constantly checking in on us. I will be coming back in the future!
