Excellent food and service
Michael, Laura and Dai are the best, very professional and quick to serve while being kind and attentive.
We enjoyed the food and atmosphere, plus, it is nice that we can watch the games,
Noise level is very tolerable, you can have a conversation.
The manager is very attentive and sweet, he rolled his sleeves and work as hard as his team , always supporting them, I have never seen sitting down, always moving and hassling like them!!!!
Highly recommended, it is a little gem in all aspects: food, service and atmosphere.

I had a lovely experience here dining solo at the bar.
Service was fantastic. Everyone behind the bar checked on me and assisted me at least once.
Their specially cocktails were crafted incredibly, even with my requested changes.
All the food i ordered, seated and to go, was REALLY good… Except for the coconut shrimp. The only reason for my 1 star deduction. Pretty pricey for 3 pieces and they were so overcooked i struggled to remove the tail and couldn’t cut through them with a fork. I had to literally saw through those hard guys with my butter knife. Needless to say i didn’t even want to finish them. The presentation and flavor was good though…spicy!
The clam chowder was excellent with the bacon and scallions. Almost like a loaded potato soup but with clams, and there was a generous amount of clams.
The flatbread was a unique combination and really good… Even the next day.
The wings were crispy and tender and prepared well.
The ranch seemed to be homemade, and almost had a bit of a spinach dip flavor twist to it (with no spinach, lol). It was good!
Ultimately a great experience and I hope to return to try more of the menu!

We decided the other day try lunch at Charter 18 in Ameristar. We were greeted politely and quickly and our server, Martha was lovely and knowledgeable about the choices so she was helpful in making our selections and was attentive. Food came in a timely fashion and was delicious! The crab dip I just could eat all day. We also tried the wagyu chili yum, the spring rolls (awesome). The smoked pork chop with Gouda grits were to die for. We definitely need to return to try their other tasty offerings. Also I have to mention we sat in a booth which I normally don’t like, but these booths are cozy comfortable and you can enjoy your drink, eat your meal and watch your favorite game all in one place!

I’ve been coming to the ameristar for quite some time since the change of the sports bar to now charter 19 I find it very hard to please my palette the food has been gummy raw overcooked no flavoring and quite disappointing. The people are wonderful but the meals I’ve had better when it was the sports bar, but now that it has been changed to charter 19 I’ve been finding it very hard to love or like let me know if anybody feels the same way. Oh my God when it was the sports bar, we we we ate here when there was nothing else. Usually we go to Bugatti‘s if it’s not Bugatti‘s, we come here.

Dai was the absolute BEST! She was friendly, efficient & patient with our family. She even helped setup the birthday decorations & impressed all of us throughout our celebration. Nice atmosphere, good service and great food. My wife and I went to Charter 18 with a large group. We were able to try multiple Appetizers. We tried the crab dip, Colossal Pretzel, and the Asian Spring rolls. All were very good. The Asian Spring rolls are the best.
The My wife got the Sweet Heat Chicken; she was very pleased. She said it is crispy, spicy hot and really good. Her meal came with fries. We both really like their fries.
I got the Smoked pork chop; this thing is massive. Great smoky taste. My side was brussels sprouts, not a big fan, but they were OK for brussels sprouts.

Amanda, Tina, and Beth exemplified the meaning of customer service. They made me feel at home, recommended local favorites, and truly gave me the true St. Louis experience. I can say with confidence the next time I book a hotel to stay here it will be the Ameristar hotel because of their exceptional service and friendliness.

The waygu cheesesteak was excellent with the fondu cheese sauce. Service was great and bartender was very attentive. I’m trying something different on the menu next time but I think a want a side of that fondu sauce to dip my fries or tots in. ☺️
