I’ve been coming to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge with my family for most of my life, and today my partner and I tried Mountain Edge Grill for the first time, and I can say with absolute certainty it will not be the last. We were looking for somewhere to just pop in and I’m so glad we chose Mountain Edge. The ambience is delightful, it wasn’t too loud, and from the start Joe was wonderful. He is truly a credit to your business, in fact my partner and I wondered if he was the owner, his demeanor and obvious love for his job was clear. He made us feel welcome and it was felt genuine and not a “show”.
The food, I cannot say enough good things about our meal. I’m a foodie and I love good food done well and yall knocked it out of the park. The burgers were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The French fries and onion rings were cooked perfectly and had excellent flavor. Even the ranch had that homemade flavor to it. Everything from start to finish was so good and yall have absolutely become a restaurant we will frequent anytime we are in Gatlinburg.
In case it wasn’t clear, Joe is an absolute delight and your food is worth every penny!! Thank you for a wonderful meal!!

Stopped on a whim because we needed food and to get away from the hustle and bustle. Our server Joe was amazing I couldn’t believe he wasnt the owner. He was super busy and still made us feel like we were the only people there. The burgers were cooked perfectly. The fries were hot with the perfect crunch. The onion rings were the seasoned perfectly and hand battered. The broccoli cheese soup tasted homemade. It was the best meal. Not only was my tummy happy but the experience made the whole day better. The food alone is worth going for but Joe gives the restaurant heart. It felt like the magic of the Christmas season I had been missing. Will definitely return.

This place is perfect. Came here with 4 kids and 4 adults and every plate was empty. Staff was laid back and friendly. But the food was phenomenal. Bison burger, BLT, House salad, and broccoli soup. All of it was awesome!

I’ve come here so many times growing up with my dad. I bragged about it to my fiancé as she has never had it. Sadly, this place has gone way down hill and made a fool out of me. New owners?
Food was okay. Nothing to brag about. Pretty much everything we asked for we were told “we are out of that.” At a certain point, I started to ask “well what do yall have?”
Our waitress was good, but you can tell she didn’t want to be there. Almost seemed like it was a problem we were there. But, did her job. It appeared it was only her and one other gentleman running the show. They both contemplated which one wanted to take us as we stood at the door. Again, seems like we aren’t wanted here.
The atmosphere felt odd. We just felt out of place the entire time we were there.
My recommendations:
Build some morale with your staff. Work sucks. Only you can determine the day/job you have.
Have everything available that is on the menu. It happens. You run out of things. But it’s a restaurant. Be prepared.
Also, please consider new chairs. Those chairs have been there for so many years and they are just ungodly uncomfortable.

My husband and I visited on our honeymoon and it was one of the best decisions we made on that trip! The food was delicious and NUT FREE, which is hard to find in Indiana! It was refreshing to safely enjoy such delicious home style meals with a hilarious and kind staff. We ended up eating there a couple of times and I can’t wait to go back there! I recommend the bbq pulled pork sandwich and fried pickles most, top tier!

Great food, atmosphere and location! The mushroom Swiss burger was so good! I love when my food comes out hot. My fries and burger were both that way. My spouse liked the club sandwich he got too. We’ll be back soon! We prefer hometown local businesses, it seems you get better attention to detail with service and food. Great Job, Mountain Edge Grill!
