Great hidden gem! Excellent service and reasonably priced meals. Packed for a weekday but tables move quickly and food comes out fast.

Such a hidden treasure! Great food great service great prices. It has the feel of an old time diner. The signs on the walls are fun to read!

This place is always packed. If they are open they are busy. My wish is that there was more room for seating. This was our first time eating there. They serve breakfast and lunch. My son got a Belgian waffle and I got a western breakfast sandwich and coffee. Everything was delicious. The service was good. We got our meal to go. The place seemed to be clean. I plan to eat there again.

Had service dog. I asked for water in a bowl. Remarked it was a code violation. It is not. I went out got my own water bowl. Manager said same thing. They did not bring silverware or napkins. Not worth the hassle.

This place is very uncomfortable right when you walk in the door. You are not greeted by staff and told where to sit or seat yourself. You are stared at the whole time you’re there.
We were asked right away what we wanted to eat and drink without a menu.
After asking for a menu we received one and ordered.
My husband ordered the waffle sandwich. When it came it was eggs waffle, microwave bacon and fake eggs. Refrigerator cold.
I ordered the western omlette and it was filled with some sort of canned vegetable hash. The only think that was warm was the nuked cheese on top.
We have gone to alot of restaurants and been disappointed at the quality but never have we been served an eggo waffle and charged $8.00 for it.
They immediately brought the check with the food and never came back.
Hands down one of the worst dining experiences we have experienced and what’s sad is this is supposed to be local comfort food. We are locals and didn’t feel comfortable.
Never again.

I wanted to like this place. I travel a lot and love to stop at small local diners. Those quirks that make them seem homey are nice sometimes… this place I feel over does it though. Every little weird thing that a diner could do, they do. Cash only, small menu, they don’t use butter? They serve bread and grits with whipped spread? Literally says that in large letters lol.. server wasn’t sure if the potatoes were fresh or frozen, but was positive their grits were like soup. They have white wonder bread or wheat… no rye. Menu is limited and they don’t allow changes or substitutions. Everyone in the place was well over 60, so it’s just a place that caters to locals and I felt like that with the service I received. Server was annoyed that I didn’t want a top off of coffee, but then asked for more when I finished my cup… I had just waited long enough for the hot coffee to cool enough to drink… I didn’t want to top off and it be too hot again.. oh yea.. and the coffee was bad.
All this said, there was also nothing that I typically like from these small diners either. Nothing unique on their menu, no local specials, no local fresh bread, no fresh cream, just unfortunate.
