Everytime. And when you answer, “no, please give me a moment to read the menu”
He responds..in repeat. “ is there anything in particular that intrests you”?
So you repeat, “please, give me a moment to think”
And the process repeats …
Because I have particular social anxieties and a fair amount of a.d.d. , I like to read the menu for a moment , EVEN when I know what I want.
The last 4 or 5 times (6 months) I have attempted this restaurant for drive thru breakfast, I encountered the same interaction.
Silly or not, it was super frustrating to be pressured for a menu item so repeatedly and needless.
So much so that I left.
So today months later , I needed food and tried again.
Same interaction. I even prepared myself for the moment and thought I could simply ask in a kinder clearer and simpler way that he couldn’t misunderstand .
But I was wrong. So I said never mind , pulled up and asked to speak directly to him just to let him know how upsetting stressful and annoying it is to berated with questions when all the customer wants is a moment to think.
I presented the case as short sweet and clear as I could without getting upset, just my truths. And instead of even acknowledging me he just blew up and said I was SUPER rude and had to leave .
okay.
Very curious if this happens to anyone else?
Like , who does this in ANY industry or restaurant ?
Taco Bell you need to chat w your boy and get him some training. The window boy represents your entire business to each and every customer .
Pictures show it wasn’t the expectation. This being my lunch break, I would expect much better, as there was no one in line infront or behind me. It was a rush to make it, and let me leave.
Not the first time I’ve been disappointed. Minimum wage workers request higher pay, but give terrible results.
Won’t be back.
Will I go back? Yes.
Was there anything to make it sooner rather than later? Probably not.
I already told my partner we’re going to be rushed. First thing. Tell the girl I need a few moments. Kept pushing and pushing. I understand window times, but I was not asked at the window for any sauces, which is normal (usually). When I asked the lady at the window for sauces, She was clearly aggravated/aggressive as she was with taking our order.
The manager of the shift was great to correct it, but I still had to come home and drive back.
Remember. If you hate customer service, leave.
Also, these are the pictures of my two tacos I ordered with
light food on top.
We ordered and when we pulled up to window to ask why order was almost 40.00 the manager yells if we want to change the order go get back in line.
We paid and discovered that multiple up charges pushed our order total up. Additionally they added jalapenos to our quesadilla which I cannot eat and now we have an order of food that was intentionally done to create higher sales and we cannot eat.
When I called they said could not hear me and hung up.
