I don’t particularly like the Illini theme, but it wouldn’t be a problem if only the food was good. I dont know why this location can’t get a good restaurant in here. I tried it when it first opened and they didn’t have their act together yet. I heard it had gotten better so I tried it again. I ordered a club sandwich that seemed to be made of cold sandwich meat from the grocery store, thick sliced and pretty flavorless. Not good layers of turkey or ham flavor you expect in a club sandwich. Even the bacon was kind of blah. No crispy lettuce crunch or good mayo taste. Fries had a funny oil flavor that didn’t smell good. Before I said anything, my friend said, “this is not a good burger” and she also wondered about the oil for the fries. All in all, not a good experience, though the people were nice and service was good. If the food was good, there would have been more people there at noon. There was a big group that met there earlier, and a couple of people came in toward the time we were leaving. That’s it. I give up.

Nice to have a true “Illini” bar and restaurant. Food is great and Megan and Emily at the bar are awesome. Love the Pot stickers and crispy chicken. Also the brunch is really good and the best bacon in town. Great golf course and best buffalo chicken around!!

Good place for a business lunch. Emily was pleasant and took good care of us. Three of us chose the fish special and one chose the All-American Burger. All the food was great and she kept our drinks filled. I also know from a past visit that the cheese curds are excellent!

The appetizers we ordered were decent. The actual restaurant had a great atmosphere. The entrees were more like cafeteria food, mediocre at best. Service was kind of tough, our drinks stayed empty the whole time. If I needed my server I had to go out of my way to track her down. There were only two tables including ours, and two servers on the floor. Our server only had us. I wasn’t impressed.
