Really cute, convenient and friendly staff… passing through and stopped for the night and dinner. I got the crispy chicken salad, which was old half-rotten lettuce, fake bacon bits, shredded cheese and pre-cooked cold fried chicken. My husband got the bunk house burger.. which was definitely a frozen patty of overcooked mystery meat. I counted on the reviews but yikes.. going to bed hungry after 12hrs on the road. I hate leaving negative reviews.

We had been on the road traveling for over a week and stumbled upon this very eclectic and rustic decorated place. The food is very tasty and there’s plenty to drink. The staff are so nice and friendly and courteous. There’s an outside patio with a firepit, tables and chairs, and picnic tables. Even though it’s just off the highway, we barely heard the traffic. The birds were singing louder . We loved how peaceful and relaxing it was outside. We didn’t realize how warm it gets here. Definitely recommended when traveling to get away from the road and relax while refueling your body.

This is a great place to have supper. They have a good selection of sandwiches and appetizers. There is also a very nice Airbnb, motel setup and covered wagon rooms. Wonderful place to overnight.

This is a great stop, they say the halfway point between Denver and Kansas City.
They do have a campground and motel here as well.
We ate dinner and breakfast at the place. Pleasant service and good food. They have a/c, WiFi, games, books and a couch if you want to get out of your place and sit a bit with a drink.
The story of the building is interesting; if you have time to look around inside, it’s full of surprises.
There is a nice dog park just across the street.

Absolutely an amazing stop. Food and atmosphere were incredible. And service (Niva) was even better. And they happened to have a live band that night. Great people. Definitely worth the stop!

AWEFUL, AWEFUL service. Sat at bar. Waited 10 minutes for menus, another 10 min to order HALF an HOUR for a wrap and hot dog and had to ask about our food. Of course once we asked it came right out. Never once did anyone check in on us. We were going to go in for breakfast in the morning as well since we’re staying overnight but there is ZERO chance I’m giving them more of my money. I’m quite fair on reviews as you can see from the starts about our food and atmosphere but our bartender was shockingly AWEFUL and deserved the insulting tip I left her. We will not be stopping g again and to the manager, you should rethink your employees.
