The food at Anemos is absolutely incredible and 100% worth the visit. I ordered takeout about an hour in advance, and even though there was a bit of a mix-up where my order was forgotten—resulting in an extra 30-minute wait—the staff handled it perfectly.
They completely owned up to the mistake without any excuses and threw in a free dessert to make up for the delay. It’s rare to find a place that takes accountability like that, and honestly, the quality of the meal made the wait easy to forget. The shared dishes were fresh and flavorful, and the dessert was a fantastic finish.

Beware if u book a table on OpenTable they do not even look at the reservations and we got there and they just offered us a seat at the bar right next to the door so it was freezing every time people came in. and no compensation for no table even though OpenTable confirmed. I got the seafood over orzo and it did have a lot of seafood in it. Chris at the bar was really nice and made great drinks.

Vibe was chaotic overall and the manager wasn’t that nice to us because we were younger ? They were definitely over booked and the party next to us was extremely upset bc they booked online also. Wouldn’t go back

Upon entering, one is greeted by an overwhelmingly white interior. To the left, a newly installed bar features decor that complements the main dining area. The back of the establishment hosts a large screen television displaying a continuous montage of scenes from Greece and the Greek islands. During our meal, a private function was underway in a rentable back room. The restaurant’s ambiance, defined by white drapes and linens and its modern bar, successfully evokes the feeling of dining on a Greek isle. Service was satisfactory, though slightly hampered by the presence of the in-house party.

Appetizers:

I ordered the Avgolemono, a lemon chicken soup which I found to be somewhat bland and requiring further seasoning and ingredients.

I also sampled the Dolmadkakia, or stuffed grape leaves, which were prepared to a high standard.

Entree:

For the main course, I selected the Paidakia, consisting of roasted lamb chops accompanied by grilled vegetables and roasted potatoes. This dish was both flavorful and substantial.

Dessert:

I concluded with the Souffle Sakolata, a dark chocolate cake infused with a Greek coffee syrup and served alongside vanilla gelato. This dessert proved to be irresistible.

Overall, I assign this restaurant a rating of 4.7, departing with the distinct impression of having dined on a Greek island.

We only stopped in for drinks as we were on the way to another restaurant but if we knew about this place first, we would have definitely ate here. The atmosphere really makes you feel like you are in Greece. We sat at the bar, the bartender was incredibly nice and informative. We ordered there special espresso martini which came with a little Greek pastry in it. 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back to eat.

Seated quickly with a smile, cold water served very fast along with fresh warm pita with oil & spices for dipping. Staff friendly & knowledgeable. Great menu options. We started with the multiple spread platter. Different things were ordered, there are 3 of us. I chose this great place for a Birthday lunch. We had the Gyro Platter, the Flaffal Platter, and a Wrap. Everything was fresh and delicious. For dessert we had what looked and tasted like blitzes to me delicious. We each had coffee which was wonderful. Great lunch. The only suggestion I have is if a diner has a second cup of coffee, they shouldn’t be charged. Overall fabulous lunch & we will be returning customers.

No longer a BYOB but they have a lovely bar area and make terrific cocktails. Happy hour M-Th 5-7 and plenty of small plates to try. Food was very good. The atmosphere is crisp, clean, yet cozy. The staff/owner friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to visiting again.

This was our first time here and omg it was wonderful!! The hostess greeted us at the door with the biggest smile and remembered me from my open table reservation!

We were seated immediately, where we were greeted by our waiter Tony. Tony was amazing!!! He let us know from the beginning that the kitchen is a little busy so the food may take a little longer so we should put in our orders for appetizers and main course so we have no delays. We stayed out with drinks, on point for sure!!! Then the appetizers came so good then the entrees. Nothing disappointing at all!!!

20 out of 10 for sure we will be back!!!

We visited this Greek restaurant last Sunday to celebrate my family member’s 80th birthday, and it was a great experience overall.

The location is very convenient and easy to find, with a large parking lot right in front of the restaurant, which made arrival stress-free.

The service was outstanding — truly 10 out of 10. Our waiter was attentive, professional, and made the evening even more enjoyable.

The food was very good. I ordered the surf and turf, and the filet was cooked exactly as requested — perfectly medium rare. The appetizers were good as well, and everyone at the table enjoyed them.

We had a wonderful evening with family and would definitely recommend this place for both special occasions and casual dining.

Anemos is truly something special. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed like family. The warmth and hospitality of this beautiful, family-run restaurant instantly makes you feel at home. They are genuinely kind, attentive, and so family-oriented..it’s the kind of place where you don’t just dine, you belong. And then there’s the food… absolutely incredible!! Every dish tastes like going home. It’s authentic, traditional Greek cuisine made with love. Beyond the wonderful hospitality, the food alone keeps us coming back as often as we can.
Anemos is more than a restaurant, it’s an experience filled with heart, culture, and unforgettable flavors. If you’re anywhere near Manalapan, New Jersey, I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s a must-visit! Chef’s kiss

Excellent stop, place has definitely improved from the previous reviews.
Food was very good, slightly higher priced but that is a jersey trend, not sure why. Food quality was excellent, service was ok, until the end everyone disappeared. The apps were small for prices but again goes back to the fantasy pricing in these areas. However, overall well worth the trip!
