From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a young gentleman who set the tone with such warm and attentive service. You can tell they care about the experience.
Now let’s talk about the FOOD. The Mole Oaxaqueño was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Deep, rich, perfectly balanced, the kind of mole that makes you close your eyes after the first bite. You can taste the tradition in every spoonful. I literally told my wife “this is the type of food that makes you smile”
They absolutely deserve the two Michelin stars they’ve earned. This place isn’t just a restaurant — it feels like you’re transported to a cozy little corner of Mexico. Authentic, flavorful, and unforgettable.
If you’re looking for real mole, this is it. Run, don’t walk.
The staff? Super friendly… and okay, my server was adorably cute and really polite. I was low-key mesmerized by her smile. She made the whole experience even better.
Food came out crazy fast, like 5–7 minutes tops. I ordered the enmoladas (mole enchiladas stuffed with cheese or chicken). The cute server was super chill and let me mix and match moles, definitely major bonus points.
I tried two Mole Oaxaqueño (award-winning, rich, a little heat) and one Mole Manchamanteles (chef’s smoky, spicy signature). Both were excellent.
They even gave me free chips so I could sample four different moles. Who does that anymore? Love it.
The place is small , maybe six tables inside and a couple outside, but they pack serious flavor into that little space.
Parking’s shared with a liquor store (only a few spots), so you might need to park on a nearby street. Still worth it.
Honestly, might be my favorite mole spot in the LA area. If it were closer to LB/Carson, I’d probably be here way too often… and not just for the mole .
I ate here as a dine in its is 5 stars…but was I surprised when I ordered through phone wow a percent difference the meat taste as if it was going bad the tacos had no mole on them…looked nothing like the tacos we ordered when we dined in about a month prior. Definitely give me an upset stomach….I was shocked when I called back they said those tacos do not come with mole but Mole is there signature and it is on everything… funny except my order that day, which does not state that on menu….$60.00 I paid expecting La Diosa Mole well got old meat on hard tortillas that were breaking apart no mole irony. Called bad customer service not even offered to pick some mole to add to my tacos…just extensively horrible phone order..never ordered again..from here….just because of phone treatment neither would a return for dine in.
