Ordered the Dashi upon beef broth. It’s really good! The location and atmosphere is really cool. The Japanese vibe feels like a different restaurant experience inside the mall. I need to come back and tried other dishes they offer. So far I am very pleased with my experience.

Great food as always. Had the Tan Tan udon this time. Spicy but not too spicy. Also had the squid tempura and the matcha latte. Everything was delicious. Location is in the Galleria Mall – so plenty of parking, plus you get to walk it all off going window shopping.

The staff here is amazing!!! My kids love it here. We recommend having the Tonkotsu Udon if you like pork and a Gekikara fireball to spice up your meal. I love the Vegan Udon bowls they have here

Sorry for poor picture quality. Did not mean to write a review(until I took a bite). I got the Nikukama udon. The broth turned out so sweet that I had to force it down. It’s like they mixed cotton candy with the beef and the broth was also affected. I’m not one to waste food but if I were I would’ve definitely thrown it out. My buddy got the ones without the beef and I tried his broth which was normal, which is why this isn’t a 1 star. The noodles also had good texture. Recommend getting the bowls without the proteins.

I enjoy going here, mainly because they make fresh udon! Having fresh udon makes a difference when eating it. You can eat it plain (BK or Kake udon) and add your tempura protein of choice or you can eat one of their specialties (Curry Nikutama, Tonkatsu, Nikutama, Beef, Curry). Can’t go wrong with any of them. The main problem is deciding which one to eat and fill your stomach with!!

Super happy to hear Marugame Udon reopened in Glendale Galleria! This cafeteria style udon shop is located in DTLA and West LA but it’s nice to have a location where parking isn’t a mission.

Food was delicious! My eyes were a lot hungrier than my tummy so I ordered a large bowl and nearly forced myself to finish. Got the curry and additional items like fried zucchini, fried eggplant, fried shrimp to go with my bowl. Definitely want to try other dishes.

customer service was amazing. The atmosphere was nice as always, but the food literally has went down, it tasted extremely awful. would not eat here again. was so excited to come back but my curry udon tasted like it went bad and the dashi tasted like beef broth.I lived in Japan for 10 year and make japanese food and this does not taste like it anymore. It used to be so good. would not recommend it.
