I tried this place out today. Pit beef was excellent and the portion was fantastic as well. Staff were friendly and helpful. There are multiple types of sauces that you can use that are there without extra cost.
French fries were delicious. Cooked fresh, very hot, and golden brown.
I really enjoyed the pit beef. It was super tender. I’m definitely going to frequent this place often!

I just had THE best meal here. I grew up on great barbecue, and I love Baltimore’s version of barbecue, pit beef. I have tried all of the “must-visit” pit beef spots and loved them. So, consider my surprise when my wife and I randomly stopped in at this new spot on Frederick Rd because we smelled the pit and had the best pit beef of our lives. The turkey and beef were so moist and tender and had the perfect amount of smoke flavor. All the sauces are delicious and house made daily. And if that wasn’t enough, the sides might have even outshined the mains! The baked beans were the best I’ve had in my life, and their gravy and fries were perfect. The fries were crisp and fresh, and the gravy was rich and flavorful. The mac and cheese is no slouch either. At the end of your meal, don’t forget to pick up a giant smoked cookie. They are ooey gooey goodness! I hope this place is here a long time!

Wooooooooo! If you want something good , definitely add them to your list. The dry wings and their jerk wings are delicious. The pit beef is amazing too, good and smoooooky. Go in person, good and friendly staff, and clean establishment. Glad to have been recommended to stop by here for a try. I’ll be coming back sooooooon

I’m not one to usually leave reviews but if any place deserves one it has to be 4 House! The first time I came in I had no idea what to order and the person behind the counter came over to my side and fully walked me through their menu. I can’t say how much I appreciated that as a customer! I got the golden bbq wings and they fantastic! Especially for the price! I will be back many more times, so glad to have them in our Catonsville community!

We ordered delivery through Grubhub. The bag came stapled up with the receipt on it. We requested horseradish, tiger sauce, and mayo with our sandwiches. None of which I regularly keep in my house. None of the sauces/condiments were included and no napkins. When I called 4house, the lady I spoke with blamed the kitchen and said the kitchen receipt had no sauces on them. If that’s the case then I would expect the person handling the register would double check on the carry out/delivery orders. When I asked if we could get a credit for the inconvenience she suggested we come up to the restaurant to get the sauces (despite just paying a $3 delivery fee) or call Grubhub for a credit, which was clearly not Grubhub’s fault. The pit beef sandwich was just ok. My husband had the turkey and said it seemed like lunch meat turkey that was thrown on the grill for a bit.

Walking around and I was looking for a place to eat, the smoke caught my nose. Guy at the register very friendly. Got the steak sandwich, jerked wings and fries. It was all exceptional but the jerked wings were amazing.

Delicious food! The mac n cheese and smoked baked beans are out of this world! My only critique would be that the pit beef sandwich I got was a bit dry and a little cold, but overall, the taste was fantastic. I work in the area, and this place will become a go-to lunch spot for me and my coworkers. We’ve all enjoyed the food.

The workers were very friendly and they served the food very quickly. I asked for a medium rare and they perfectly got it correct which is a good first sign. I also love the fact that they have a lot of options when it comes to sauces. The pit beef itself tasted better than average and I can’t complain for $9. I also ordered fries and it tasted good as well. Since this restaurant opened 2 weeks ago, I expect them to improve. Some recommendations are steaming the pit beef before serving it and possibly improving on getting better buns. Other than that, I had a really good first time experience and will be recommending this to friends.

Been wanting to try this new local spot out since I saw they opened! Honestly I’m not a huge pit beef fan to begin with, but I love supporting local. Well I’m really happy I took a shot with 4 House! Pit beef sandwich was really great. I didn’t like the bbq sauce, so I’m actually happy about it being on the side. Fries were absolutely the best I’ve ever had. The fries alone are enough for me to come back! I ordered online for a fast and convenient pick-up. The guys at the front were nice. Will def be back again!!!!
