My stomach has been in love with this place since the first bite!! The rest of my Earthly heart belongs to this Dolan’s staff! Whether it’s Karli at the front, Emily at the bar or any and every Honey’s Lady behind the cheesecake I am greeted with the sweetest and most attentive souls. These ladies wouldn’t serve any food they do not believe in! I recommend the green plate daily it wouldn’t matter what they put on that tray!! My other two favorites have to be Birria Brisket and Peach Cobbler eggrolls. I tell everyone I meet to come here and now i’m telling you!! Very grateful for my second home!! OHHHH and don’t forget the cheesecake YOU deserve it!!

I went to Dolan’s Barbeque in Statesboro recently and had a really good experience. The food tasted fresh and well made. I ordered the pulled pork plate with mac and cheese and baked beans, and everything was flavorful without being overwhelming. The pork was tender and juicy, and the sauce had a nice balance of sweet and smoky. The mac and cheese was creamy and actually had flavor, and the baked beans paired really well with the meat.
What stood out the most to me was the service. Karli at the drive-thru was so kind and patient. She greeted me with a smile in her voice, made sure my order was correct, and didn’t rush me even though it was busy. She was genuinely sweet and made the whole experience better. It’s always nice when someone treats you with real kindness instead of just going through the motions.
Overall, Dolan’s Barbeque has good food and even better customer service. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I recently visited Dolans BBQ at 239 S Main St, in Statesboro, GA. I called into this place and really enjoyed the decor and the layout. I sat at the bar counter and Tanner took care of my beverage and food needs. I tried the small BBQ combo meal and it was more than enough. It was delicious and I need to make a trip back there. Good job!

Never disappointed! 5 ⭐️plus a few MmmMmm and a hell yeah! I’ve been with a large party, the family, and alone. Without fail, the food is fabulous! The service is fast, friendly, and helpful. And when there is live music, I don’t want to leave. The picture is loaded fries and they don’t skip on anything! They aren’t easy to eat on the road (I’d rather eat in not only for the atmosphere but the SAUCES! YUM )

Delicious and tasty food! I’m currently working my way through the menu but definitely addicted to the bbq loaded fries. They are almost too delicious to not order almost every time, plus they are on their happy hour. Atmosphere is always great and love being able to sit on the patio when it’s nice outside or there is live music.

Unfortunately, I will not be returning. I have loved this place since they’ve opened, being a somewhat regular customer. Their food is great, but that is not the focus of this review. I went today around 11:40 with a couple of my colleagues. We ordered and sat down with our numbers and drinks outside on the patio since the dining room was packed. We had been outside for no less than 10 minutes when an employee locked the door on us. We had to walk around the side of the restaurant, exiting through the side gate and back through the entrance door and picked somewhere else to sit. Once we sat down, someone unlocked the door and a white couple went and sat outside, prompting other employees to go and turn on the propane heaters for them. They even changed the propane tanks for them. I say this as a white man, who went to lunch with two black men. I have never been so disgusted and disappointed by service in my life. Unfortunately, it was nothing new to my colleagues, as they told me they experience this kind of “service” from places more often than not. I will never understand this kind of ridiculous treatment.
