We had lunch here and everything was great! The burger was so good, a lot of flavor and seasoning. Our table ordered a Reuben too and it was very good.
The staff was very friendly and recommendations were good.
We also tried the carrot cake, it tasted like a box cake, not too bad, but I wouldn’t spend money on it again.

My Husband and I ordered take out from here tonight, it was our first time trying and boy were we pleased! The prices are unbeatable and you get good quality, home cooked food. We are so happy Decatur finally has another good restaurant and we will be eating here often on nights like tonight when we don’t feel like cooking. 5 stars all around!

Literally perfect, I had the chicken dumpling special and it tasted exactly like my mom’s before she passed. The food is amazing and the staff is so kind. The waiter was very kind and treated me and my wife like family. Very great experience will come back.

Nice place, all employees very nice. I felt prices were a little pricy for some things. My husband ordered a $10 omelette and it came with nothing. No potatoes of any kind or toast or anything. So he ordered toast to go with it for $2 and got 1 slice of bread. So yes I thought $12 was too much for that. They also had some good looking deserts although we did not try any.

I ordered a cheeseburger plain, and it came out no cheese only mustard. Sent it back, and returned swiftly with cheese but on the same bun. Cook came out, apologized and said they would make it right. 5 minutes later the same burger and fries came out, but all cold now with a fresh bun. Needless to say I didn’t eat anything. Owner said they would take it off, but to give them another chance. I paid 5 minutes later once the rest of the group was finished, and the total was $18 once it was “discounted” for my wife’s plate and our 2 drinks.

First time visiting and Absolutely hands down the best home cooked meal from a sit down restaurant. The chicken casserole and sides was delicious. Then took a slice of Carmel apple walnut cake home for dessert and wow it was AMAZING Will definitely be returning!!

Great food and great service. This is real food made by real people. If you want great food in a nice atmosphere where the food is made on-site, this is the place to go. This is a real scratch kitchen, not one in name only.
