The love of family, friends and great food is a tradition for the Egoavils Having relocated to the United States from Peru in 1992, they sought the opportunities their new home offered. They have now realize their family dream of owning and operating their own restaurant. El Tule was previously home of another restaurant offering Mexican fare. The Egoavil family has infused the eatery with a vibe all its own. El Tule’s Mexican-Latin fusion includes traditional Mexican offerings as well as the addition of Peruvian menu items. Peruvian food has been gaining momentum among foodies across the nation, and prior to El Tule was extremely hard to find in the Delaware Valley. EL Tule offers both indoors and outdoor dining.

Went to El Tule with my ladies and we had the best time! The food was seriously amazing—so flavorful and fresh. Every dish that came out had us saying “okayyyy this is good!”
It’s BYOB, which is always a huge plus for a girls night. Makes it even more fun and relaxed. The service was great too—friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of the whole time.
Definitely a 5-star spot for dinner with friends. We’ll for sure be back!

The Peruvian highlights of the menu were solid entrees for our party of three. I had a skirt steak dish, and my friends had shrimp and vegetable dishes, respectfully. Service was pleasant and responsive.

The dining room is small, and plenty of outdoor seating is available. We were able to park on the street in front of the restaurant.

Be aware of the need to BYOB if desired.

I don’t understand why this place doesn’t have 5 stars. The food was spectacular! Beautiful presentation and just perfect flavor in every bite. I got the fish and a Mexican hot chocolate and literally want to make the 40 minute drive to get the same thing again tomorrow.

First time. Will not be the last. Exceptional Passion Fruit Ceviche. They serve it with a SPORK! Yes! My husband had Mofongo, mentioning many times how delicious it was. It is a very colorfully decorated, laid back vibe. The food was really fresh, with bright, deep flavors. They are not afraid of herbs and spices! Our server was really attentive without being a distraction. He was kind and made some great recommendations. We will be back!

Beautiful place with welcoming outdoor seating. Very friendly staff. Delicious food. Salsas can be spicy. The purple corn beverage was a surprising and awesome drink.

Our waitress was great. There was a huge group that was sat next to us and the owner took the time to explain each of the menu items they were offering to the group. They also asked if there were any allergies to that they should be aware of before taking orders. The food was also insanely good. Next time I’m in the area I will definitely be stopping by.

First time here today and my partner and I were so impressed! Will definitely be back!

Service was prompt, attentive, and lovely. Ambience is bright, colorful, and authentic.

Food was a home run! We got the guac-elote appetizer, the shrimp tacu-tacu, and the chimichurri skirt steak with mofongo, yucca fries, plantains, and pickled red onion. Everything was cooked exceptionally well and was so fresh. Big portions and you can’t beat the prices. Go here when you’re in Lambertville you won’t be disappointed!

Stay away from the guacamole and chips. The chips tasted a week stale. Fish tacos were good. Lamb dish was tasty. Ceviche not half bad either but im not a Ceviche person.

Nice restaurant that has a mix of both Peruvian and Mexican options. They have a really nice outdoor area. The ceviche is very fresh and authentic. The food was good but they were a bit short staffed so the service was a bit underwhelming. Worth giving a try though.

Excellent food! We loved everything we had. We got a ceviche app which slapped, and a to stone skirt steak special with chimmichuri. Fresh, flavorful and reasonably priced
