This location is my favorite Mexican restaurant! They don’t side eye you if you ask for more chips, sometimes they even offer which I appreciate. TBH chips and salsa is probably the main reason I love going to Mexican restaurants so I’d always in hog heaven. Thanks! It’s pretty good yal!

The food was especially good. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it came with a small souffle of pico de gallo and a small souffle of sour cream. All very fresh. The greeter, our waiter and the checkout people were all very attentive and courteous. The table & booth we sat in were clean. The price was reasonable for my meal. I would definitely recommend 3 Agaves to other people.

We are frequent customers of this location and had never experienced anything like what happened on December 12.
We ordered two carnitas plates for pickup. The portions were noticeably smaller than usual, the food did not taste fresh, and the salad was excessively spicy, which is not normal for this dish.
What was most concerning, however, was finding a jalapeño pepper inside the plate that was clearly bitten, not cut. This raised serious concerns about food handling and hygiene.
We reported the issue directly to the restaurant that same night, explained the situation respectfully, and even mentioned that we had photos available. Unfortunately, we never received any response at all.
This review is not about compensation or free food. It is about food safety and customer care. A situation like this should never be ignored, especially when it involves hygiene concerns.
Silence sends a message, and unfortunately, in this case, it was not a good one.

The food was good! I wish I ordered a drink to see how the margaritas are, they were priced good for 20oz glasses. I ordered the Choripello? It was good. The person I was with ordered a wet burrito with onions and mushrooms grilled on top. They were fast around lunch time, so it makes for a good day spot.

We LOVE this place, their food is hands down the best around. Always fresh and hot and always right. The staff are always hopping and you never have to wait for long. The Margaritas are also delicious, my fav is the spicy (jalapeño). My recommendation is the fajitas.

Now our favorite Mexican Restaurant. The most important thing for a Mexican restaurant is cleanliness and food quality. This one has both at an affordable and reasonable price. We will be eating here often.
We had a very kind waiter named Charlie who was attentive of our needs. Another good reason to come back. I believe you’ll agree with us that this will provide a great mexican dining experience!

I use to Love the food honestly the last few times not so much. I am a or was a huge fan of the Wet burrito it came with steak, chicken and shrimp! The two times before tonight it came with Steak, Chicken and 2 shrimp!! Tonight I ordered a different burrito and Tamales!! I am a HUGE fan of Tamales I get the often from The Tamale Place at 5226 Rockville road!! Tamale place is awesome by the way! Now back to tonight I added new pictures. I thought I would get an order of pork tamales. Turns out they literally forgot the PORK!! Literally it’s just corn masa that’s it oh with meat sauce on top!! I’m sorry this isn’t a mistake cause all 3 were the same literally! I love Tamales and this was the last time I will visit this establishment for this reason!! Also the Tamale place on Rockville road is very authentic and has huge bags of chips that are beyond amazing. The tamales are beyond meaty and the tacos are top notch.

The food, service, and atmosphere were all great here! We had a party of 8 that came in about an hour before close, and they didn’t even look upset or annoyed. They were actually really nice to us about it! But the food tasted great, and it 100% felt like a Mexican restaurant. I recommend it!

This place has the same decor that seemingly every Mexican restaurant in Indiana has: colorful chairs and artwork and the tissue flags hanging from the ceiling. Our waitress was ok at best, friendly enough just slow and had to make several trips throughout our dinner and long waitsbfor extra dishes and drinks. She wasn’t around much either. There are two main reasons why I won’t go back. First, ALL of menus were dirty. They are the heavy multifold kind. All slick with grease and salsa. And other sauces. And other food. The two skillet style dishes that came had little pot holder sleeves over the hot handles. Both had dried food encrusted that was so bad I took them both off and tossed them onto the unoccupied table next to us. That didn’t for right there. They serve a lot of fajitas there. It was obviously and visible so they know and serve it like that any way. If the dont give a damn about that, what else are they passing off back in the kitchen? Gross and disresptful. Second, the food was low quality and bland. My chicken was over cooked and dry. The beans and rice was more like many non Mexicans idea of beans and rice. Like white rice with color- no flavor. Beans were thin and ho hum. The tortillas were clearly the cheapest that restaurant supply offers. The servings are big enough and the prices are good. There are better places, scratch that, anywhere is better than here. ALL other Avon Mexican places that I’ve been to were better. If anyone says this place is good, then they have never had good Mexican. Sadly, the place was busy.
