The shrimp enchiladas (enchiladas de camarón) are hands-down the best I’ve ever had. Two cheesy enchiladas topped with a creamy corn and shrimp mixture, with a side of rice, and Mexican salad. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the portion size was generous without being overwhelming.
And don’t even get me started on the chimichangas! Crispy on the outside, tender and savory on the inside. Each one is cooked to perfection and topped with all the right fixings.
We first visited back in February and have been coming back weekly ever since—it’s that good.
Our server was extremely rude from the start. She asked how our day was, and when we replied “good,” she stood there staring at us with an attitude until we awkwardly said, “Um, I’m sorry—what?” When we tried to move on and order, she mouthed inappropriate words under her breath. We’ve been here many times and have never experienced anything like this before, which made the situation even more disappointing.
It took over 20 minutes just to receive queso. When we asked about the delay, her only explanation was that the kitchen was busy, even though the restaurant clearly was not. There was no apology or effort to fix the issue.
We had never seen this waitress before. She had black hair, glasses, rainbow pens, and the name Cassidy on the receipt.
On a previous visit, we also dealt with a rude blonde cashier, and after leaving we received a notification showing a $300 charge when our lunch total was only $25, which is insane.
We truly enjoy this restaurant and hate having to write a review like this, but these customer service and billing issues need to be addressed. We don’t want to see a place we love continue to go downhill.
Clean tables, nice atmosphere, friendly service, and quick chip replenishment ( ).
The flavors were good, and the steak on the carne asada was fresh, however I would have liked a bit more seasoning. The salsa and warm homemade chips were good, a bit spicy on the salsa but I’m a lightweight, so I can’t complaint. Salsa Verde was delicious!
The menu provides a wide variety of choices, the service is outstanding, and the food is exceptionally tasty every time.
