It was just okay. Here for my sons BCT Family Day. It was $15 a person for the buffet. They had breakfast options and lunch/dinner options, tea, water & lemonade and some desserts. The breakfast casserole and grits were really good but I didn’t feel it was worth $15 a person.

Food was good but nothing seemed to go together. The taste was good though & we had hardly any wait time which is worth gold on family day! Would recommend!

Went to see my son graduate from Basic Training in Ft. Jackson, S.C. This is a perfect place to relax after Family Day at Ft. Jackson. Food was good. Plenty of seating for a family visiting thier soldier in Training for family day or graduation day.

We entered and one guy on the phone never acknowledged us. And two workers sitting on break i guess. Another girl looked at us also without saying a word. We left. We are not from here but will not visit again if ever in town.

Went here during Family Day and my stepson’s graduation. The food was horrible (bland, dry, and not at all appealing esthetically). It was self serve buffet style. The ice was in big barrels/trash cans (they were lined) and the ice scoopers were just laying on top of the ice, so people were just scooping ice and throwing the scoop back into the ice barrels. The sweet tea wasn’t bad and the staff was very nice and attentive to the guests.

It was nice to have a place to go during family day, the restaurant isn’t bad. The food is a whole other thing: basic DFAC food and lukewarm. Paid $15 per person for food that I’m pretty sure came out of a box marked “For military or prison use only”. You’re way better off going to the exchange or one of the fast food restaurants around base.

Soul food buffet was incredible! Well worth it. Collards, mac n cheese, fried fish, salmon cakes, sweet potatoes/yams… I definitely come back !

Self-serve, food was hot and fresh but could’ve used some more seasoning. Good options between lunch and breakfast.

Only thing good was being able to wait inside for a table. Family day at Fort Jackson is horribly executed by the businesses on base; which are the only option. Food at 1917 Club was bland, soggy, and cold. When you could actually get some. Skip the resturants and pack picknicks instead. Everyone will be happier.
