Listen, it was Sunday and no alcohol can be sold BUT some restaurants can serve it. We went there just to drink. This is a very big tip for any of you who are visiting on a Sunday and do not realize its a dry county. We had close to 8 plum wines and ordered some sushi so we didn’t look crazy to the server; who was really laid back and realized what we were doing. The sushi here is really good, but the Plum Wine is better.

It was hard to understand the waiter at first. We ordered the pick 3 for 14$
Sushi rolls and they first brought a roll that wasn’t our order by mistake.
We only got 3 waters 2 rolls and calamari with fried rice salad and soups at the end. They didn’t serve us our third roll. The waiter picks up my water cup and asks if I needed a refill but it was still half full and I told him no. I couldn’t even drink anymore b/c he’s touched my cup and it gave me the ick.
When we got our bill it was $59.
No way this meal was worth that much with a cute lucky cat 8$ included.
They charged us for mistake roll and a roll we never got. This restaurant is a rip off. Never coming back here. We told them there was a mistake, and luckly they fixed it and we also took the lucky cat off and it went down to $44. I still think we were over charged b/c of the missing third roll.

This restaurant is more pricey than similar restaurants in the area, but the quality of the food is so much better. The service was friendly, and the food was delicious. The decor was cute, and the tables were spaced out nicely for us to sit and enjoy our meals. Based on food quality, this is one of the best options in Batesville. Give it a try if you are in the area!

First time ever at a Hibachi grill. The cooking display was a great first-time experience, and the food itself was great. We even got lucky and were seated with a very lovely couple that made the experience even better. This was also the first time I had Saki, and I must say, hot wine is not something I expected.
Overall, this was a great place. Awesome for something new, a bit of a change of pace. Highly recommend at least giving it a go.

If you’ve been to any similar restaurant, you know what this will taste like. Solid options with consistent taste, but nothing special or standout about it.

Headed here because it was near our hotel, and we were seated immediately – it was not busy at all, just a few other people on a Monday night.
The menu is the typical, rice and noodles dishes, various combinations of meats from the grill, and the regular salad and soup.
I had the Teriyaki chicken, fried rice, salad, and soup. All were good, and the Teriyaki flavor was heavy, they didn’t hold out on that.
The only downside was that nothing really stood out about any of it. If I pay $20 bucks for a meal, I usually expect it to be an outstanding one, and this was just typical.
No reason not to go here, but no reason to rush out and fight for a table either.

Dark, dirty, the food doesn’t taste good and it’s way overpriced. If you want Japanese food definitely go try Doras Express. The food is tasty, less expensive and the service is much better.

The food was great, we did the hibachi grill and it was cool. It was my first time going, and I thought it was a delightful experience. He waitress however was rude and demanded a tip. She only got a dollar and a note, saying she should smile more and be better waitress for better tips.
