Small business. Everything is made fresh, so it might take a little longer to get the food. Probably one of the best BBQ places in Colorado. The prices are not too crazy either. It was delicious, and they have lots of bbq sauces and they are all delicious.

12/14/25 update. Finally tried the collards as I came really late and they were virtually sold out.. DANG! by far the best flavored collards I’ve EVER had and quite frankly I’m putting my Nonnie in 2nd . Scooters never disappoints!!
Super friendly staff. Pulled pork is fantastic, sauces are on point and can we just go ahead and talk about this side okra. Hands down biggest side portion ever and they are great as well!! This GA guy APPROVES! Glad I I’ve in Idaho Springs now and got this a short distance away

Little small shack you order inside and go get sitting outside. Wear sunscreen because it gets hot fast. Dog friendly. Has 1 bathroom inside. Food is fantastic. Nice adventure! Parking is limited, best to park across street. Opens at 1130, gets busy by noon.

The best chopped brisket I have ever eaten! Worth the extra miles we drove the opposite way we were going to get some delicious BBQ! The staff was really friendly and made our experience enjoyable.

My husband and I live in east Texas, but this is still the place that comes to mind when we think of the best BBQ we’ve had. Stopped on our honeymoon August 2024 and it was one of the best meals. The brisket was amazing, the sauce was so good, and the beans were really good! One of those hole in the wall finds. Would certainly recommend.

We moved here in October and have wanted to try Scooters. I finally made it in yesterday and had the burnt ends with baked beans. My son had the chopped brisket sandwich with fries. The food was outstanding and all the people working were so friendly! What a great little gem! Sorry, I forgot to take pictures.

Love this place! Best BBQ in Colorado. Family owned and operated. Best service have ate there 4 time’s already. Stop by if you’re fishing in Georgetown or visiting the town you won’t regret it and you’ll definitely be back!

The food was very, very good. Great smoky flavor and cooked perfectly.
Meeting the family and team was also just a great experience as they are very blue collar and honest.
