Stopped by The Soda Bar for a midday lunch and was really impressed. The food was fresh and flavorful with a soup and sandwich combo that hit the spot. They have an awesome selection of drinks and the staff made it feel like a true local favorite. Josh the owner was welcoming as it was my first time here. Always good supporting a small business that puts care into what they do. I will definitely be back.

We had such an amazing experience here! Josh and his wife are the owners, and you can truly feel the love they put into this place. Josh took the time to share their backstory with us, which made the visit even more special. He was incredibly kind and welcoming, and he went out of his way to make my boyfriend feel celebrated on his birthday. The energy, the kindness, and the care they show their customers is rare and so appreciated. This isn’t just an ice cream and soda cookie shop — it’s a place built on heart. We’ll definitely be back and recommending it to everyone!

The ice cream is delicious and is generously served. I was surprised that prices are comparable to that of any other ice cream place, but with such a *chill* atmosphere (pun intended).
Pros: Local icecream place. In the pictures, I got the Buckeye Sundae, which was delicious. The ice cream was good, the make-up of the Sundae was good. Again, what was great was the portions and the simple peanut butter, vanilla, and chocolate flavors.
Cons: the water bottle was more than a dollar. That was my only con.
Now, it would be easy to think that nepotism could get in the way of my reviews. Alas, your thoughts would be foiled because the owner and I are of very different Van Horn families. One went on to own and operate Ice Cream facilities and the other went to write about their experiences of eating Ice Cream and other delicacies.

Service was amazing and ice cream was INCREDIBLE. Sampled the banana pudding and praline pecan and so yummy. I ended up getting a signature coffee ice cream milkshake with chocolate covered expresso beans in it and it was UH-MAZING.

Josh is amazing. Honestly, all of the staff is amazing and super friendly. They are very patient and recommend the tastiest milkshake blends. Their homemade brownies and baked goods are to die for. I left my debit card and came back a month later and Josh had saved it for me. He actually recognized me and flagged me down to return it. I have taken all of my family and friends here to enjoy the scenic atmosphere and delightful treats. Will definitely be returning.

I started my 3-day addiction innocently enough by entering at noon to grab a water for lunch that was inbound to our training room upstairs.
Water, sure whatever. When I opened the door it was fresh baked cookies and craft sodas. Having given up caffeine I tried a Dad’s root beer and grabbed 2 cookies for dessert.
My cookies were a hit upstairs as I ended up going back down for an assorted dozen.
Day 2 was a couple cookies and a root beer Josh recommended. Delicious!
Day 3 was more cookies and a milkshake since our local staff recommended it. Good call as it was amazing.
Great food, great selection and the best part was Josh. He was incredibly friendly and personable. I look forward to my next visit.
