I actually tried the best/ most recommended 3 dishes here. The pork splank rice bowl is my favorite, the pho is average and the Hainanese Chicken is fairly authentic but spicy. Portion could be a bit bigger, location is near campus. Very clean and definitely should try it out.

I stopped by this Vietnamese spot and tried the pho and pork shank rice. The pho was solid—good broth, fresh herbs, and tender beef. It’s hard to beat the real deal in Vietnam, but it’s definitely enjoyable. The pork shank rice, though, was the highlight. The pork was super tender, and the chili sauce added a nice kick. The place itself is simple and cozy, with friendly service. If you’re looking for a decent bowl of pho and something a little different, it’s worth a try.

Had the Ramen with tofu and cooked beef(soup noodles). The soup smells awful. The beef has no flavour, and tofu tasted awful. Never again will I try vietnamise food.

The food was so bland and the texture was not very nice – we could hear the microwave going I would not be surprised if it wasn’t fresh. The pho had an insect in it and the rice had a long long long hair embedded into it and the texture of the noodles and rice was unpleasant.

Excellent location for both students and visitors; Kind and warmhearted service; Traditional and perfect flavors, I can say that it will be the best eastern food you have ever tasted. Try king prawns spicy cold noodles plzzzzzz!!!!!!

I am very disappointed with this restaurant. It’s labeled as Chinese dishes, yet can’t they even properly stir-fry vegetables? If they added some corn and tomato salad dressing, I could pass it off as a salad.
Even the meat tastes like a spicy snack straight out of the package, and the marinated eggs seem pre-packaged, dry and tasteless. Most importantly, when I expressed my dissatisfaction to the staff, they defended themselves by saying that all their vegetables are served raw.
This doesn’t solve anything; it only means that all your dishes need improvement. I won’t be returning. The nearby ‘老伙记’ is cheaper（10pounds for rice dish) and much tastier than this place.

Ordered the veggie pho and the broth was very weak tasting. My friend ordered the beef pho and the broth was much more flavoursome. Not one to go to if you are vegetarian, which is a shame. I hope to see a more flavoursome veggie broth in future!
