Food was good but pricey for local patrons. Service was good. I’m impressed with the responses to the reviews, by the owners (all about learning and improving). This was my first visit, and they have only been open a few months. Many of the things I read in the reviews seem to have been “fixed”.
Some things are still an issue. Our orders came out seperately. Maybe kitchen needs to hold first portion of the order from the window, until all parts are ready. Or an over-zealous “helper” wanted to get it out? It was not our waitress who brought the burger out before the crab balls.
That being said, the crab balls and fried mushrooms were excellent! Both were crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. Lots of crabmeat in the balls. The sauces (Bayou Sauce and a really good Ranch that tasted homemade) were delicious. The smashburger was good but $13?? Also, would love to see some homemade fries! Crinkled freezer fries were hot but flavorless.
I would also like to wish these folks good luck. The location is great.

The atmosphere is amazing and the service was incredible! The waiter Lee was so kind and helpful! The smash burger was very yummy! Everyone needs to come try it out in the bayou!

My husband and I both had the smash burgers and they were fantastic! The food was hot and fresh, and the onion rings were good and crispy. The place is clean and comfortable. The service was great and the prices are very reasonable. We will absolutely be back soon. We highly recommend.

Heard from several friends how good the Bayou Grill was so we decided to give it a try. It’s close to us, which is important because we like to support local businesses. We went with some friends. Everyone at Bayou Grill was super friendly and welcoming. Service was outstanding. Time from ordering to getting our food was minimal. Some places have Smash Burgers and they end up being dried up smash patties. But not the Smash Burgers at Bayou Grill. They were great! Seared outside and juicy inside. The only recommendation I would make is ease up on the salt in the Onion Ring batter. They were handmade, not frozen store bought, and still were very good. Just too much salt per the 5 of us that got them. Overall a 5. I’m sure we’ll be back.

Was not impressed!! Head the shrimp basket, shrimp was grilled and the were very good! Very small salad shrimp, small portion, hush puppies were very bland, and so were the boudin balls, $60.00 for 2 people, and we leave hungry? I will not be going back!

My wife and I have had lunch and dinner here several times and it’s been great. One morning we went to try breakfast and it was at best okay. The issue was price. I had one and a half plate and she had one. At check out our cost was $50. I didn’t realize that it wasn’t an all you can eat buffet, just buffet style, shame on me. Still $50 is quit steep for a breakfast. Feeling ripped off we won’t ever go back!!

Updating my review since they went back to the bigger, better chicken fingers and my review is now 5 stars. I will go all the time and recommend to everyone! Though, if they change anything else, I would ask for a re-vote on fry style, but that’s just my preference.

The fries are sometimes great (when crisp and well seasoned) but sometimes just a flavorless potato as I feel is the case for most crinkle cut fries. They chose that in a vote, so it is what the people want I suppose. They have seafood, but we have yet to order it. Maybe eventually. But it’s the spot to go for chicken and burgers for us.

Very slow service, appetizers arrived with meal and after a course arrived. Po boy bun as served on basic bread not French bread and they are cheap on the shrimp, maybe 6 shrimp on a 6 inch po boy:
