The food was outstanding and worth every penny. Staff was welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend checking this out if you’re staying around/passing through Naples.
The brisket sandwich was outstanding and their roots burger is bursting with flavor. Great fries, too.
I started out with a cup of pumpkin soup as appetizer of choice. It was a creamy bowl of deliciousness with the right amount of pumpkin flavor. The sunflower seeds was an excellent topper. Moving on for Entree choice was the polenta sandwich piled high with polenta egg green peppers maple bacon green peppers lettuce onion. The cafe does not believe in being skimpy with its sandwiches! The roll was fresh soft and gave it the sandwich the added compliment.
Server was excellent. Fast efficient and helped in answering questions about the menu as well as offered a few suggestions on where I could buy sourdough bread locally. Parking is limited with a small lot free parking is offered on the street.
Prices are excellent for what you are receiving regarding menu items: Creative cooking with healthy fresh wholesome good food and large size portions.
And as I come to concluding the review of Roots cafe Id like to mention I love the concept of not only networking with local business as well as farmers in the community but actually buying the farmers food to make the best of dining for the public. This is the type of business concept I grew up with. Community. And by witnessing Roots cafe introducing farm to table through the restaurant I can see it at work and it is what appears to be a thriving restaurant with hard work providing fresh local farmer produce as well as creating delicious meals for community and the public to enjoy. Thank you Roots Cafe. I look forward to my next visit
Locally sourced everything.
Menu changes daily based on what they’ve got.
Chefs here are geniuses.
Offerings are multi-cultural without losing any quality.
Drinks are creative and unique, and taste amazing, so it’s not just quirky for the fun of it either.
Atmosphere is great. Very friendly staff.
We were inside and it was quiet, outdoor area might be louder.
Truly a must visit restaurant.
If I lived closer, I’d be here every week.
Additionally, in spite of being quite busy (the grape festival was going on) service was quick and attentive.
Also, lovely ambiance and the restaurant is surrounded by a beautiful vineyard…. What a true gem!
Oh yea- it was really cool to find a bunch of random notes left in the drawer of our table by previous patrons. Definitely worth a visit!
Went here with a group of friends for dinner. Was not sure what to expect being in a small town. We were all pleasantly surprised with the food. Everything was fantastic! The best dinner we’ve had in quite some time. I ordered the Roots Burger and the Risotto. The butter spread that was on this burger was amazing, no ketchup needed. The burger was cooked to perfection. The risotto taste amazing… my wife ordered the pulled pork enchiladas, also delicious. Friends ordered the bone in pork chop… also amazing!
If you are a local or just traveling through I would definitely recommend stopping here for dinner. The service was great, and the atmosphere was relaxed.
Expect about $30-$40 per person.
My kid got stung by a sweatbee in the waiting lobby right by the door. She was fine and it could have happened anywhere so not the restaurant’s fault! But it’d be nice to have a heat lamp for waiting outside. Although waiting at the wine bar is a great option for those into that! I can’t believe we had a 45 minute wait on a Wed afternoon at 1:30! No festivals or anything going on that I knew of. Just super busy, so be prepared!
Alcoholic drink menu is great. The Gincident was so delicious. Definitely worth a try.
The outdoor patio was warm, but definitely lacking the same cozy indoor vibes. Maybe a few more plants or ceiling drapes could help.
I’d recommend Roots for visitors, especially!
