Great first time back under the new ownership/remodel ! Cocktails were good and reasonably priced !(got an aperol spritz & the lemon blueberry cocktail). The food was good too! glad to see a couple of my favorite food items from the old menu/similar to; but even better & more elevated ! Will be back for sure (especially for the Hoisen tendies & nachos ) .

I was in town for a conference and my husband and I came across Trinity Brewhouse on our walk back from dinner and decided to give it a try! We sat at the bar and had some beers. I had the Kolsch and Lager and my husband had the Belgian Strawberry and the McTrinity Stout. The beers were delicious and the bartenders were super attentive and friendly! If we didn’t just come from dinner I would have tried some of the food, because the menu looked soooo good. I found out they had just gone through a remodel and had re-opened recently. The space was cool. It’s so close to a bunch of hotels in the area and the Convention Center. I’d definitely recommend!

It was our first visit since they opened before the PC game. Loved the fresh new look! Love how they repurposed the art work! Food was great…we tried a variety of menu items: fish and chips, pizza, wings, the pretzel and chicken & waffles. Would recommend all of them! Beer was also great. The owner came to our table several times and was so warm and friendly. Waitstaff was great as well! Can’t wait to go back!!

Came before a concert, the place was busy but we were able to sit right away. The manager who was so sincere, down to earth, spoke to you like you knew her for years was the one to sit us. The waitress was warm and welcoming. Staff was hands down amazing!!. Food came out fast considering how busy it was. Food was delicious. I got the spicy chicken sandwich and the other party had the steak tips both soooo good.

My husband and I went here for Valentines Day, frankly because it was the only place where we could get a reservation. But we were very pleasantly surprised at how great it was!

The place was packed so we were expecting a long wait for everything. However, we were seated immediately, the waitress was quick to take out order, and everything (drinks, apps, and entrees) came right out within a very reasonable amount of time.

The waitress was phenomenal and the food was delicious. I got the steak tips, and my husband got buffalo wings and a burger. The tips were so tasty and very juicy, and the mashed potatoes were literally some of the best I’ve ever had.

The owner dropped by our table to see how everything was and said they had just opened 3 days ago. So, if you haven’t been there recently, you need to go! LOVED it! It was awesome.

Conflicted feelings on the reopening of Trinity Brewhouse. The inside is much cleaner and with more tables, but the lighting is so bright and cold compared to the warm dimmer vibes of before, it feels like you’re in a waiting room at a doctors office instead of a cozy tavern with personality.

All of the booths have been removed for trendy hard wood seating and hard wood benches. It couldn’t be more uncomfortable if they tried, and doesn’t make me want to spend the night drinking beers since I’m unable to relax. Hard seats and harsh lighting are the opposite of what most people look for in a brewhouse.

The pool tables have also been removed, which was one of the main reasons to come hang at Trinity as opposed to other local pubs.

The food has been ‘elevated’ which is both good and bad. The portions are smaller and the food is more expensive, but the ingredients seem to be a bit better. I ordered the duck wings for $18, and while the flavor was good, two of my six duck wings were literally just bones with bits of skin and no meat on them. I’m all for meat being fall off the bone tender, but only if the meat makes its way onto my plate.

Most of the entrees are around $24 – $34. There isn’t a lot in the way of a quick bite. I understand the desire to elevate the bar food, but at the end of the day it’s a brewhouse…it’s a bar. People want to come by, get a quick bite and a few pints and unwind with their friends.

The beer is good, if you liked it before you’ll still like it now. I’d come back, but with hesitation and likely not with a group of people like I used to. This is no longer a spot to come and hang out for the night. The added tables, the lighting, the seating, the more expensive menu, and the removal of the pool tables send a clear message that you should get in, get a meal and a drink and then move on to the next spot. The facelift has unfortunately wiped away what made this spot so cozy to begin with.

Side note: Upstairs there is a men’s room and a ‘family room’ which was locked. The women’s room is downstairs only with a 2nd men’s room. Such a strange choice.

The OG crew is AMAZING, of course.
But the beers are warm and the food is for carnivores. Oh, and the bathroom situation is dreadful for women.

(Also, they have like 29 gazillion TVs now. But none were showing the Boston Bruins game I could have been watching at home on my ANTENNA TV!!!)

The new owners truly revamped and did amazing updates to Trinity Brewhouse! More accessible (for our disabled friends/ bathroom is spacious) Chef killed it with the food and giving an elevated pub menu! Try the duck wings, amazing!!!
