The food is good. Staff and people here are friendly, but it was too crowded in my opinion when we stopped in. Got an order of pulled pork and fries to share with a friend. For us splitting an order was perfect. Eating a whole order would have been too much. But for a big hungry guy it might have been perfect.

At Timber Creek Restaurant located in Karkwood Ski Resort, there’s a desire for more vegetarian options. While the food is priced high ..
high quality, customers expect the quantity to match. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The presence of free water filling stations is appreciated. However, some menu items seem overpriced, like the $22 veggie burger and the $10 hotdog. Bar cocktails are priced at $20, while rice crispy treats cost $6 and fries are $8, which receives mixed reactions. The restaurant tends to get crowded, and ventilation issues can lead to unpleasant smells after sitting for extended period

staff is super nice.

Loved the healthy and flavorful Tandoori and Korean BBQ bowls. Yes it could be more quantity for the high price paid. But I’m glad to see protein packed flavorful options in the mountain than a typical Hot Dog station.

Classic mountain ski cafeteria restaurant. Very expensive, the food was warm enough. 4 small tenders and fries were $17+. Same with cheeseburgers and a grilled pesto sandwich. $6 for Gatorade. Nothing we weren’t expecting but just once it would be nice for a ski lodge to have affordable food or food that has quality that matches the price. Not surprising, but just saying. The staff was very friendly though and that was the bright spot.

Staff is super friendly and great vibe at Kirkwood always. Food is good tasting, but needs more healthy options other than pizza, kickers, soup and croissants. Bar service is always under-staffed, so prepare for a really long wait. Nothing to do for waiting family members who do not ski is a big disadvantage to Kirkwood from becoming a family destination. Skiers in the family will stay, non-skiers stop coming eventually from the household.

Can’t expect too much out in the mountains. Very pricey for burgers, fries and pizza. The staff is great though, courteous and smiling. They also make a big point at sorting the leftover food, recycling, compost amd trash. To make sure it’s done right they have a dedicated person doing the sorting which I thought was clever and shows they’re commitment.

It’s the larger of the two cafes on Diamond Peak Ski Mountain, at the bottom, closest to the carpark. It’s very big, with 2 levels of eating and a bar. In winter it was a little cold and the good here was more expensive than the smaller but similar offering up the mountain at the Snowflake Lodge.

Typical resort fare. Chili was good, chicken tenders and soup were good as well. Prices are very expensive. Staff was kind and helpful.

Good place for skiing with family…have all the experience from Magic Carpet (beginner) to difficult slopes for experts.

Plan to reach early if you want to avoid the crowds, finding parking might be challenging on long weekends!!!

Cafeteria style eatery. Reasonably priced for a ski resort. Not much atmosphere to speak of and can get crowded. The food is ok.
