We have been coming here for the last couple of years & it keeps getting better & better. We used to be loyal to El Tapatio & only very rarely chose another Mexican restaurant, but each time we have eaten from Baja it has gotten better. So Baja has become our “go-to” place for Mexican. The food is fantastic & there is always enough for leftovers. Originally the only small complaint we had was the taste of the salsa but at some point they changed it & now the salsa is the best in town.

Best chips and salsa in town! There’s plenty of seating here and it’s spaced out pretty good. One my favorite dishes is the Fishing Trip. It’s rice with steamed veggies and then topped with pretty much anything you can catch on a fishing trip: fish, crab and shrimp. Then they pour their special sauce and white cheese on top. It’s very good!

This visit we ordered the flaming cheese with steak, it was good, the cheese was a little over powering after it melted, but overall, it was a lot of steak, onions, bell pepper and tomatoes for $11.00.
We also had the steak Mexicano. It wasn’t spicy like we expected it was ok. But the service was great as usual. And you can’t beat the prices.

This was my first time visiting Baja California, and overall the experience went pretty well! There’s a wide variety of food to choose from. I ended up ordering the Burrito Loco (steak, chorizo, grilled onions and french fries all wrapped up and smothered in cheesy queso goodness). The lady ordered the carne asada. The food came out so quickly we were almost in disbelief, but it was delicious! Although, the beans could’ve used a bit more love and flavor. I had a tango margarita to go along with my meal, and the lady had a pomegranate one. If you’re hungry and in the area, Baja California is definitely worth a visit!

Went for dinner and were greeted and seated immediately. We were brought chips and salsa right away. They were both good. I got the fajita quesadilla with chicken. The quesadilla was filled with peppers, onions, grilled chicken and cheese. It also had guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo. Hubby got a chili rellano and a side of corn tortillas. All was very yummy . Our server was friendly and attentive. Lots of menu items to choose from along with drinks, alcoholic and regular. Good place for tasty Mexican food.
