Blast from the past decor, and great diner food (which we don’t have much of in the area). Menu is basic foods but packed with options. Breakfast all day is a plus! Meats are from a local butcher, the biscuits and gravey are both home made, and people are friendly. Limited seating but if you can get a spot (or go for a late breakfast) it is worth it! Only critique is that it didn’t have much seasoning, but overall good and will return!

An awesome spot with good and fresh food. The meat they use are all top of the line. You will get some great service by coming to this spot!

Had good scrapple, but these folks need to learn how to make a western omelette and hash browns. Veggies inside rolled eggs, do NOT make a Western omelette. Plain Sliced potatoes are NOT hash browns.

If you like a really small family run diner this place suits the bill. My wife and I had a breakfast here it was terrific. Booths were just the right size, although the restaurant has a hole is pretty small. Very homey feel to it I must say. This is a genuine family diner, not some place that kind of looks like it and charges you a fortune for upscale cuisine. This is for real down to earth good old food prepared well. I had the 3A gauntlet, my wife had two eggs plus the bacon was perfectly crisp exactly the way she likes it. Biscuits were nice and fluffy and very hot. Great great meal, we absolutely will stop in here again and we’re back in this part of town. Two thumbs up

It’s quaint diner, food was okay, not bad but nothing omg great either. We did sit at the counter which is fun to watch them cook, but I’m also not a fan of plain fingers not gloved scooping out omlet toppings into a bowl to serve guests. Especially after watching her work for 20 minutes in the grill and touching just about every cabinet door and surface in the kitchen. To me, grab a spoon to scoop out.

The only working diner in Winchester! This is a great place to meet friends and make new ones. The owners make the best food and prices very fair. If you’re going to Selma Medical center stop by. A terrific place to have coffee to go or at the vintage counter! My doctor from Selma M.C. suggested “Amherst Diner” as he referred to it me 5 years ago. I’ve never been disappointed.

This place was such an amazing find. The food was great and the selection was really wide. Everyone there was so nice and the service was super fast. Everyone knew everyone in there we were quite outsiders but still felt very welcomed. Its a small diner but everyone was in and out so quick that no-one had to wait for a table.
