Passed by but never went in until recently. Everyone in JC knows and goes to this spot. The food and service deserves 5 stars. Took us in and seated us as they were getting ready to close …half hour before closing. 930 on a tuesday… She said no problem with a smile and fired us up a couple pizzas. Pizza was great and it meant alot that she was so pleasant. Gonna go back and get her name and a Pic for future review…

We were looking for a spot that had a nice variety on the menu for us and Gino’s did not disappoint! I ordered veal parm sandwich and my wife and kid both ordered pizza. Everything was so good! Our waitress was very friendly and patient with us because we took a little while to figure out what we wanted. I wish I could have gone back on our trip because the second half of the restaurant is like an authentic pizzeria and everything in there looked so good. Next time! Highly recommend!

Great pizza for take out or sit down. There are two sections of Gino’s: the pizzeria with pizza oven where you can get slices or take out and the sit down restaurant. We’ve down both and you can’t go wrong. The staff on both sides is friendly and helpful. The food across the board is great but the pizza is fantastic.

The pizzeria is pretty small but they also have a restaurant adjoining it. While the ambiance of the pizzeria is simple the service is quick and the staff is friendly. I wanted to try the calzone and when I asked the staff they happily guided me through. I went with grilled chicken along with olives and onions as fillings inside the calzone. Never thought it would be so huge in size, definitely filling enough while the calzone was baked to perfection, I wish the grilled chicken had a bit of seasoning which would have helped it a lot.
Usually I have tried out their pizzas which are good but it was good to try something new for a change!

I always order my pie well done, and it comes out perfect every time. Whether it’s a personal pie, large pie, sausage, plain, pepperoni, or a specialty, everything has been consistently good. It seems like the owner—or someone who really cares about the food—has eyes on the business. The prices are fair, and the ingredients are quality. I think I even taste a nice blended cheese, maybe provolone. Keep up the good work!

We came up here for a baseball tournament. Both my son and I hadn’t eaten since 8:30 in the morning and it was 6:00 at night and we were starving and needed some decent food. My kid wanted pizza so we found Gino’s on the map and took a 12 minute ride from the field over to the restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing and the service and the workers were on top of everything and so friendly. Being in Jersey City I had high hopes for the food but I was really surprised at how awesome everyone was (no offense, northern NJ ). Seriously though- the food was so good and everything came out fresh and fast.

Awesome margarita pan slice and Brooklyn L&B-style sicilian slice and garlicky garlic knots made by master pizzaiolo Andy! Amazing sauce and tasty crust, a hard combo to come by these days! I’d get the thicker slices to really appreciate the flavor and chewiness of the dough. We’re coming back!

BEST dough and pizza sauce ever. Brooklyn is my go-to it hits so good with the red sauce but their classic personal pizzas are always a great go-to as well. Highly, highly recommend.
