Meh, grabbed a 3 piece lunch special, chicken was under heat lamps and was dry, and not much flavor.
Potato wedges were old as well, no crisp.
Went there based off reviews.
Worker however was pleasant, nice, cared and for that I’ll give them another chance.

Best perch in Kalamazoo! And I love their tartar sauce it’s the best I’ve ever had honestly. My bf got the cod basket he said his was very good. I got some chicken legs and coleslaw as well very very good!! The staff was super friendly and because they weren’t busy they were kind enough to bring it to our car I will definitely be back. The establishment was clean but it was small not very much seating. The pricing is very fair to especially for the quantity of food.

Quick and fast and tasty. I only complain about the amount or size of the chicken wings for the morning deal. I paid 12.69 for 4 wings,side and a drink. But if had paid 30 more cents I could have gotten another side,biscuit, and 3 fat pieces of chicken instead.(leg, thigh, breast)

Enjoyed the food, and the service was quick. The dining area had several dirty tables, but we found a clean one to eat at. Outdoor eating area is available as well.

I used to eat chicken coop all the time when there were more locations to be able to stop at. Now, it’s rare that I stop there because there are no locations close by. Also, their prices are a little higher than I usually want to pay. It wasn’t as good as I remember it being. The chicken was very dry and the potato wedges tasted like they had sat around for a while. I don’t care for their dinner rolls either- never have. They are very dry. The biscuits at Lee’s come with honey and are very good

I gave a 3 star, for the fact that this is the only Chicken Coop in the area, no one to compete with, no competitive prices, and yet they are so expensive.
Considering the factors I just stated, they could come down on their prices, and still be the best around with their great tasting Chicken.

A very busy place which means it has good food. Order at counter and eat inside or many were there for takeout as well. Chicken fingers and fries were very good.

I wanted some fried chicken but I didn’t want it from the traditional chain restaurants so I looked up fried chicken places in the area I was running errands and decided to try them out. One reason I went here was the reviews were great and the other because it was very close to where I was located. Let me tell you that I’m so glad I did! The chicken is awesome! I ordered a three piece with cole slaw and baked beans but the star of the show was the chicken. It was golden brown, crunchy and absolutely delicious!! And the customer service was top tier! They brought my food out to me when it didn’t appear that that was even an option!! LoL!! Next time I am craving some chicken and I’m on that side of town I’m be back to the Chicken Coop! 10/10 recommend!!
