The Wild Grain Café is a neighborhood favorite known for its gourmet sandwiches, vibrant breakfast toasts, and irresistible selection of freshly baked sweet and savory treats. On Fridays, the café transforms for its much-anticipated pizza pop-up, serving wood-fired pizzas topped with creative combinations influenced by local and season ingredients.

My new favorite spot for coffee and lunch! Bryan has been needing a place like this!!! The sandwiches are AMAZING. You can tell the focaccia is fresh baked. Even the side salad is absolutely delicious, compared to most places that just give you some greens as an afterthought… I genuinely look forward to their side salad. The pastries and coffee I’ve tried are also delicious. There is plenty of seating and it’s never felt super busy when I’ve been. There is always available parking.
My only note is it’s pretty loud / echo-y in here with the concrete floors. Some soundproofing under the chairs or something might improve the atmosphere. That will never stop me from coming though, the food is seriously delicious and service is great!

Focaccia fans! This is the place for you! Very tasty food, pastries, and drinks! The peach tea and the ice cold brew coffee were very good. The ‘rise and shine’ breakfast sandwich was fantastic (we did get the sriracha mayo on the side). The 2 pastries we tried were really good. Can’t wait to come back! This space is very inviting and great for medium and small groups and is family friendly.

Atmosphere:
Off the main road, the building looks very common, but once you step inside it, its a whole different atmosphere. The music set the establishment really well and greenery inside was a nice touch. There was ample space with different types of seating options.
Service:
Cashier was really helpful in explaining the menu, as well as highlighting some key dishes. The was also a barista who was also able to help with recommendations, so it’s good to see all of the staff passionate and informed with the menu. One act of service that stood out was when Chef Tanner came out to see how the meal experience was. Then got to talking about his establishment as well as the future plans/dishes he plans to implement. Just from the short communication with him, I could tell he had so much passion for his establishment and craft.
Quality:
It all started with the drinks that were ordered, both drinks looked very unique and definitely haven’t had a drink looks that before. The drinks that were ordered were the Peach Tea and Blood Moon Magic, with the peach being more sweet of the two, yet the Blood Moon Magic having a plethora of ingredients to make for a unique drink. Then it came to the sandwich, which I order the Cubano. The sandwich had so much flavor with every bite and can see it being a personal favorite. For dessert, I initially thought i would only have the Cinnamon Focaccia, which was told it was eating the center of a cinnamon roll with every bite. Tanner had made me aware that a fresh batch of the Orange Baked Donuts and it would be worth the wait, and boy was he not wrong. Going to this establishment for that Orange Baked Donut, would make the trip worth while and the wait.
Fili’s Fave:
Although everything I had was great and full of unique flavors, there was one item that stood out from the rest. Do your self a favor an Orange Baked Donut, you will not be disappointed!

Great spot for lunch! Cute inside, friendly staff, and delicious food. Really appreciate the vegan option labeled on the menu!! Hard to find anywhere else with a quality vegan sandwich in the area. The focaccia is addicting, and having gluten free options is also amazing!! Recommend to everyone!

What an incredible place— truly. We just hosted a baby shower here, the first formal event The Wild Grain has hosted. We have never had any previous experience with The Wild Grain, we were just having a coffee themed baby shower and we knew we wanted a local coffee shop. We connected with Tanner, the owner and the rest is history! Tanner was absolutely fabulous to work with. Timely and quick to respond, catered an excellent menu, and the day of, had two of his staff members host the party. The two girls provided some of the most exceptional service I’ve ever received. This is the 16th event I have hosted in two years, and one of the best because of how incredible this cafe was. The food, drinks, and atmosphere are unmatched. We’ll back back for many, many more events! Thank you Tanner & team!

The Wild Grain Cafe is the kind of place that’s going to have long lines and constantly sell out before closing in the future. It looks so unassuming when you first see the building and walk in, but boy are you in for a treat! There’s a legit chef in the back preparing these meals, this ain’t subway. These are the best sandwiches I have ever had, that’s an honest statement. The Cure is addicting, the pesto whipped ricotta spread is genius. The scratch made bread is life changing. I can’t recommend this place enough. If I still lived in College Station, I would be there as much as I could afford.

This is a SWEET place! I had a coffee, Strawberry Donut Focaccia & Homemade Beef Sausage roll. The Focaccia is so crunchy, yet pillowy with wonderful hints of strawberry sweetness! The Beef Sausage roll is so warming and wholesome. I’ll definitely be coming back soon, if not today for lunch. Great job, Tanner & team! It’s a pleasure to meet you!!

We went to their soft-launch opening this morning and had a wonderful time. The staff and owner were so kind and welcoming. They told us they had more coming down the pipeline – including coffee (their machine was sadly stopped at customs). I was happily surprised to find a small kitchen play area and reading nook for our little one to enjoy while we waited for our food. We’re so happy to have another local business in this building to stop by for a bite. Can’t wait to try more!
