That said, compared to other halal gyro spots, the meat is on the milder side and feels a bit under-spiced. Flavor-wise, it doesn’t always stand out if you’re used to bolder seasoning.
Where they really shine is the white sauce, easily one of the best, and the fact that it’s non-dairy is a huge bonus. You generally can’t go wrong here, just keep realistic expectations with the bowl.
The one positive is their hours—they’re open until 10 p.m. on weekdays and 11 p.m. on weekends, which is later than most other restaurants in the same block. That convenience is nice, but overall the food quality could be better.
The restaurant’s ambiance was pleasing, with clean and tidy surroundings. I liked yellow and red as accent colors, which are also colors in its logo.
I ordered a beef gyro and a chicken shawarma to go. The beef gyro featured fresh tomatoes and beef pieces on a fluffy gyro, and while the flavors were fresh, the overall taste was somewhat bland. Although white sauce and hot sauce were added, I found it a bit difficult to swallow towards the end of each bite due to lack of taste. The chicken shawarma gyro had a slightly better taste but lacked depth, possibly needing more sauce or seasoning.
Both gyros were prepared quickly, and while the experience was just ok, it didn’t leave a lasting impression.
