My second visit as an “out-of-stater”. First time, I met a friend for breakfast. It was delicious.
This time we had a family group of 10 for lunch. We all enjoyed our meals. We were seated in the library. So cool! My 6yo grandson was able to look at kids books while one of the adults was able to peruse technical books.
We were even indulged in the history of the establishment from a descendant of the founder.
High, highly recommend.

The BEST coffee ice cream we have EVER had in our lives! Original soda fountain sodas with the syrup added by hand and homemade chocolates too! All set in wonderful blast from the past atmosphere. A step back in time to a quaint, well-kept, clean and friendly restaurant. Highly recommend to anyone in the area! The team made you feel welcome without any pressure to break the bank… although once you try the ice cream and the chocolate, it’s hard not to!

This place is a gem of the Midwest! The classic diner experience is truly felt here. The service was amazing and the food was just as fabulous! Pricing was reasonable. There are so many things on the menu that I have yet to try, but I’m definitely going back to Flesor’s again soon! One of my favorite parts was the book wall where the owner allows patrons to take as many books home as they please! Such a great venue.

We stopped here while on our bus trip. Devon was a comical lady who told us the history of the candy store. Then got to see where the magic happens in the kitchen. The peppermint icecream and pb covered in chocolate was excellent. The workers were very friendly and helpful. Then we all got to pick a book from the free library and a chocolate treat. Thank you so much having us visit.

Unique family owned business with great food, a real dosage fountain and a jaw-dropping selection of in-house made chocolates. Definitely worth the 20 minute drive from Champaign-Urbana. Best BLT I’ve ever had, and the roast beef was fall apart tender that tastes like someone’s grandma made it. Milkshakes was worth the calories. One served both if us. Didn’t try the candy this time, but we def will on a future trip!

Flesor’s needs to be on your Midwest destination list. Whether you stop for a meal or to pick up some of their handmade treats, you cannot go wrong. The food is homemade regional fair. This mid-century soda fountain was carefully restored 25 years ago with most of its original decor.
Take the kids or grandkids there for a chocolate Coke and it will blow their mind!

I attended an event they catered, the food was really great! My husband loved the shrimp and the stuffed mushrooms were my favorite!
I have also been to their store…the BEST!

Food and drink tasted good. But later that night it didn’t agree with me at all. This is day 2 and I’m still suffering from diarrhea. I don’t know if it was the patty melt or the homemade ginger ale. Staff was very friendly. Wasn’t given silverware and napkins until I asked for them. Price was kind of high I thought for what you get.

Cute space. Nice atmosphere. The food is good and the candy is wonderful. Also love how you can take a book or leave a book for others. No charge for the books. Nice friendly workers as well.
