Maui Brewing Co. Kā‘anapali was such a convenient and enjoyable spot for us during our stay. It was located right on the property of our hotel, which made it incredibly easy to pop over for both takeout and a sit down meal.
One night we ordered takeout to enjoy dinner in our room, and another morning we went in for breakfast at the restaurant. The food was tasty and there were plenty of options for everyone. A huge plus was that they offered cocktails to go, which was perfect for bringing drinks back to the room to relax.
For our takeout dinner, we ordered the fish and chips, veggie burger, fish tacos, and pork bao buns. The fish and chips were the clear favorite for both my husband and our friend. The veggie burger was very flavorful and clearly made with fresh ingredients. It did fall apart a bit and was slightly soggy, but honestly that felt more like the result of a freshly made patty rather than a mock meat burger, which we appreciated.
While our takeout dinner was good, we all agreed that this is absolutely the place to go for breakfast. The ube pancakes were incredible. They were a large portion, very filling, and so delicious that we genuinely wished we had gone back for more. My husband ordered the loco moco and said it was perfect. We also shared the hot mess hash, which was eggs cooked your way over a bed of veggies with salsa, and it was a great, satisfying breakfast dish.
Between the convenience, solid food, great breakfast options, and the ability to grab cocktails to go, Maui Brewing Co. Kā‘anapali was a reliable and enjoyable spot that we were very happy to have so close during our stay.

Food was excellent and service was on point. We came in very frustrated and 18 minutes late for our reservation because first we couldn’t find any parking because you had to fight for every space and second we couldn’t figure out where the heck the place was because there was zero signage from the road. Apparently this is normal for them but they were still accommodating. The steak nachos were a perfect medium rare. The calamari was on the bland side but the sauce more than made up for it. My wife’s Mai Tai was very strong. They aren’t messing around with their mixed drinks. Was much easier to leave once we figured out the beach route back to the car. The view was amazing.

RATS!!!!!!! Tried most things off the menu the nachos were good and the tortilla chips were cooked in house. The calamari sticks tasted pre cooked and prepackaged. The drinks were good recomend the yoga pants. Service is slow to receive drinks even though restaurant is not full. Top items o. The dinner menue include the braised ribs which I would say is a 9 out of 10, second best item on the menu is the Butter Fish 8 out of 10 followed by the pork ribs 7 out of 10. The pork ribs could have used more sauce as there were dry pieces. The mahi mahi is a 4 was dry and tasteless and the burger is a 5 nothing special. The steak is about a 6 nothing to write home about. The one item that turned me off of this place is that we were originally sitting in the lower area and we actually had a rat multiple times cross the floor. This is pretty unnerving as an establishment such as this should have protocoles inplace to manage rodents especially rats. I have included pictures of the kitchen and one can see the floors are not very clean so I would not recomend this location until they handle thier rodent problem!!!!

This was our first time in this location and we had a great time! It’s not as big as the main one, but there’s plenty of space, a nice vibe and right by the water, so it was an ideal spot to hang out for a while. The beer was solid as usual, the staff were friendly and efficient and the food was really good. I’m surprised to see this was only 4.0 stars as they deserve to be much higher than that. We’ll be back soon!

Best food and atmosphere in Kaanapaili. We have been here 5 days in a row for Happy Hour. Hazy IPA is amazing. We ordered the calamari and tuna stack both 1/2 price on Happy Hour and the Tuna Salad. More than enough food for two to share and bill was under $100 with 4 beers total. Live music also daily. See you tomorrow Maui Brewing

This is one of my new favorite places! Totally mine and my husband’s vibe! The fries alone were worth going for I loved the burger and the special spread on it! It was just delicious. My husband really enjoyed all the beers. He drank a few different ones but his favorite was the mango sticky rice I’m not a beer drinker but I loved that one too!!!! Loved watching the sunset and just relaxing at this chill spot! Service was amazing even saw a bride and groom walk in to was cool to see everyone cheer for them and just everyone having a good time! I loved it can’t wait to go back! I had the rootbeer it was good not like A&W or Mug but so good for a brewery style!
I want to go back so bad! GO ENJOY CHILL! Eat the fries

Stopped here a few different times on our daily morning beach walks. There used to be a great Hawaiian restaurant here a few years ago, which sadly closed. This is the quieter end of the beach, away from the noise around Whalers.
MBC opens at 7am, so it is a great spot to come down early and sit and enjoy the ocean views, whilst the beach is quiet. The bartender was great, very helpful and the Bloody Mary’s were really good. The food is just ok, but we already knew that, as we came for the views and the drinks.

We were very excited to dine at the Maui Brewing Company’s new location, which is beautiful, being right near the beach. We went for brunch and the food was absolutely delicious, with the Ube pancakes and guava pulled pork Benedict being our top favorites. The service was disappointing however. The waitress couldn’t be bothered to remember our drink orders and asked us to raise our hands when she called out our drinks, as though we were in elementary school. She barely checked on us throughout the meal and there was never any offer of a coffee refill. This would have been tolerable if she hadn’t just automatically pressed the 20% tip option when we paid. I don’t feel that this level of service is worth a 20% tip.

Food was great. I had the Burger, it was delicious. I did add fries when asked if I wanted fries or a salad. It was presumed that the burger included one of those sides. It did not. I got charged an extra $6. Not cool at all. My wife got the fish tacos. It is a large serving size and they were fried, which she wasn’t expecting but they were good. They do have military discounts if that pertains to you. Also, the Mai Tai was better than Monkey Pod. I got the OMG Hazy IPA which was also very good. They do have a “kitchen service fee” which I didn’t catch, and an American Express fee of 3% which I also didn’t catch until after I paid. Additionally, the tip portion of the payment suggested 20%, 22% or 25%. Did not start at 15% or 18% which is where I’m used to seeing these. At the end of the day, it feels slimy to add on a bunch of fees and charge for fries, but whatever. Good was great, view was great, but ethically not sure I can come back.

Wanted a less expensive more casual option for dinner on our last night in Maui. Things on the west side are higher end and this was a causal break from all that. The setting is gorgeous (parking was a bit of a runaround but is free when you get it validated) we got to see the sunset and have live music while we ate! My friend and I shared half and half the burger and the guava kalua pork sandwhich, both were so fresh and flavorful it was hard to pick which I liked more!! Most of the beers got tapped out, we went later in the day, which was unfortunate but what we were able to get was good still.
