Forget the cliché, touristy decor—Salsa and Guacamole offers a truly authentic, upscale dining experience right in Surrey. The atmosphere is stunning and feels exactly like a high-end restaurant in Mexico.
The food was phenomenal. We loved the Sea and Turf Tacos, which give you the perfect combo of rich Birria and fresh fish. The Alambre Fajitas were another standout, served hot and sizzling with melted cheese and fresh cilantro. We paired our meal with a tequila flight, and everything they poured was incredibly smooth and top-shelf.
From the amazing service to the flawless attention to detail, this place is an absolute must-visit. 10/10!

Great spot for date night! The food is delicious, authentic and so flavorful. The birria tacos were amazing, ceviche was phenomenal and cocktails so good too. Highly recommend this spot if you are craving good Mexican food and authentic Latin flavors. Service was perfect, restaurant was clean and theres plenty of parking available

I visited Salsa & Guacamole on Tuesday, September 30th for my birthday. My son and I each had a plate of tacos. We also started with a margarita. Andrea, our server was attentive and professional. Having heard it was my birthday, Andrea gave us each a tequila shot and a churro with ice cream for desert. The food was outstanding. Beautifully presented and tasted authentic! This is my second time visiting and it will not be my last. Thank you some much for the lovely birthday dinner and treats.

We came to Salsa & Guacamole with a couple of friends on a Sunday at 6pm and it was already busy with a 30 minute wait.
We were seated first at a bar while we waited for our table and the service was friendly. We all got Dos Equis beer that was served in a nice chilled glass.
I got the enchiladas with red sauce and my hubby got the surf and turf – fish tacos and birria.
Everything was delicious! The only thing missing was the sour cream that was supposed to come with my enchiladas but I was so hungry I didn’t care.
We would definitely return maybe on a weeknight when it’s less busy as the place is quite small with not a lot of seating. I’m still thinking about the delicious birria!

Do you want to have tasty, authentic Mexican food? Then this place is the answer. Beautiful, cozy, home like vibes. Prices are reasonable too. I went multiple times with friends to celebrate birthdays and special moments.

The staff were so kind and attentive, even putting up a happy birthday balloon for me! The food was delicious as we’re the drinks. The music was festive and fun. I really had such a great birthday dinner, I don’t think I stopped smiling for 2 days after!

Very cozy and modern Mexican restaurant. We had a staff party at the restaurant, and the bench seating and chairs fit over 15 people. The decore had touches of Mexican culture, but not overwhelming or cheap looking. On the front wall, they projected appropriate Mexican singers singing in Spanish. It didn’t distract our party’s enjoyment. The food was good and fresh. Tasty homemade tortilla chips with a bean type salsa. Tried the Agua de Jamaica, a hibiscus iced tea, and it was refreshing and not too sweet. I ordered a tortilla soup and it was warm, and flavourful. Did not try the other dishes, so I will hold of giving the restaurant a full 5 stars on food. I did not see the rest of the restaurant, so I will give them 4 stars for atmosphere.
