The customer service was pleasant enough. The Cheddar Broccoli soup was tasty, could use a little more broccoli floweretts in it. Plenty of seating. Decor is fun. Next time I’ll try one of the sandwiches..

Worst experience ever! I hate writing bad reviews, I know the store is new BUT c’mon!!! We’ve never had Erbert and Gerberts so we decided to see what it’s like. Like everyone else, we stood around for 20 minutes waiting for our food. The girls behind the counter didn’t even look like they wanted to be there. We ordered 2 sandwiches, the “hot” brisket, bacon, cheddar and BBQ sauce Beacon and a half Spartan which is supposed to have sliced chicken breast, bacon cheddar and ranch and made that one a box combo with chili and chips. THERE WAS ESSENTIALLY NO CHICKEN. (See pic) They sent us out the door with that sandwich!?! And if a sandwich description boasts BBQ sauce, there needs to be more than just a smear at best. Also, that chili was disgusting.We went to our car to eat because we were so hungry, by then, and were extremely disappointed and still hungry. We went back to complain and were told they were running out of ingredients. Why weren’t we told in the beginning??? Could have ordered something else or not wasted our $$$!! We had our receipt and asked for our money back and were told to come back tomorrow to talk to the manager because they couldn’t find our order in the system (this was Wednesday)Went back yesterday, no manager. Left my name and number and Friday has now passed without a call. This location has ruined it for an entire chain

I have ate here twice. Both times my sandwich was very tasty. The price is pretty good – I think the sandwiches are good size for 8 bucks.
I will be back to support this business. It is nice to have an Erberts and Gerberts in Big Lake.
I normally end up getting the roast beef. It is my fav!
Also it is worth noting how clean this location. The dining area always looks clean and kept up.

Really enjoyed the sandwiches (the rotisserie #22 was extra good imo) and the soup was pretty good too. It’s a shame that a rough launch has hurt their google reviews. Don’t let that stop you from giving them a shot (I hesitated for months for that very reason). Seems they have got it together now and if you like it, leave a positive review. Hope erby-gerby is here to stay.

My family was excited to try a new place here in BL, but this was extremely disappointing. I hate writing negative reviews and rarely do, but this deserves it. After ordering online, we learn at pick up that they are out of french bread, the mac-n-cheese for the brisket sub and also pickles. Then after getting home find out that the brisket sub had been replaced by a philly cheese sub. Not only was majority of our order changed, but the food was very bland. I hope they listen to these reviews and improve, otherwise we won’t be back.

I’m sorry, but this was so bad! It’s like knock off Jimmy Johns which I’m sure is maybe a known point, but we’ve never had it before. Happy something new is in Big Lake, yet so disappointing. I understand staffing is probably a problem (thank you to those that show up) however the quality of the food is absolute garbage on top of having to wait forever 🙁 The texture of the turkey and ham was like biting into a block of jello with extra slime. My husband bit into his sandwich and there was still butcher / wrapping paper in his meat!

Went here with a friend, got the Flash and the Neuron. Both sandwiches were insurmountably average. We went through the drive thru and waited a standard amount of time, not too long, but not too fast either.
It wasn’t cheap, but it also wasn’t outrageously expensive for what you get.
Would I recommend this to a friend? Maybe. Do I see myself coming back here again? There’s about a 50% chance. Who knows.
If you’re looking for a sandwich place to have an absolutely middle of the road eating experience in Big Lake, Erbs and Gerbs is the place to go. Solid 2.5/5 stars.
