Wow, what a great find! It was our first time here and we were so impressed with the freshness and quality of the food. The menu had some really unique dishes we hadn’t seen elsewhere, and everything we tried was delicious.
It’s super family- and kid-friendly — the waitress offered us a booster seat as soon as we walked in, which was such a nice touch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome.
Our favorites were the Salmon Battera and the Creamy Kimchi Yaki Udon — both were amazing! Portions were generous, and the food came out quickly. We’re so glad we found this spot and can’t wait to come back to try more!

Sushi Calis used to be one of my favorite sushi restaurants because of their services and specialty rolls. However I’ve noticed that the food quality has been very disappointing lately. I ordered Alaska roll and the rice to avocado + cucumber ratio is not adding up. They definitely have been adding more rice than usual
I am a regular here and would eat atleast 3-4x a month however due to the quality of food, I stopped going.

Went shopping and with the late night comes a late dinner and this was the closest place that was open till 9pm. Fast! Ordered and table 10 min. It’s not busy. Great taste. The gomae is delicatable. I think it may have coconut oil in there. ☺️

I’ve tried Sushi California in Downtown and Burnaby (Lougheed), but the Langley location is on a completely different level—it’s amazing! Even though it’s far from us in North Vancouver, whenever we have time, we make the trip because it’s absolutely worth it.
The design and presentation of the dishes are like artwork, the ingredients are always super fresh, and even though the restaurant is usually busy, the wait is never more than a few minutes. The staff are professional, friendly, and make the experience even better.
Here you can find both westernized rolls and more traditional sushi, all prepared with great care. For this price range, it’s by far the best option I know. If you try it once, you’ll definitely want to come back again.

Not so impressed, first of all, they don’t even have oshi sushi?? It’s hard to find a sushi restaurant that doesn’t serve oshi these days, secondly the rolls I ordered don’t taste very good either. None of the rolls I really like, I wanna say they are just slightly above T&T sushi……

Food and prices are excellent. Prices are 2 to 4 dollars less per dish compared to other sushi places in the area. One of the better places we’ve been to in Langley/Surrey area. Service was friendly but could be more attentive. We didn’t have the sashimi but one of the other tables did, big pieces and looked good. We recommend giving it a try.

Really affordable for the food you get. Service has always been friendly and courteous. I really enjoy their Sushi, but I have tried some cooked food as well, and recommend it too. Given the fairness in price, you can still rack up a bill though as you may order too much, which you can always take home.
I have introduced many friends to this Sushi place and everybody says they have to come back, so that must account for their food quality and price….right.

Food was delicious! I got the cali rolls, miso soup and teriyaki beef (A very typical white person meal, lol) and it was all very good! Presentation was also very nice! Portion size on the beef was excellent, I had plenty of leftovers!
