Well I stopped for my normal craving, cheese steak double meat double cheese mayo and mushrooms.. YUM but got home to something else dude cooked it with pepperoni on it with onions as well… you know when your craving something so bad you mind won’t shut up till you have it? Yeah one bite of that sandwich made me throw up.. its not all penn stations just seemingly this one they constantly mess my order up.. I called even and didn’t seem to care much so I will never go to this location ever again nor will recommend to others either… it is $20 sandwich.. not hard to make either double meat steak and double provolone cheese with mushrooms and mayo.. 4 times wrongly made and 2 times dismissed by who ever answered the phone… gross greasy mess of sandwich “Picture”

I tell you what, this place just keep getting better. Josh the manager here, cares about this place like it’s his own! We travel to this specific location just because the food is always on point! He even checked on us due our visit. Very caring manager and staff! Which is HARD TO FIND THESE DAYS! Thank you! You’re all awesome! Thank you again!

I recently visited Penn Station East Coast Subs on Brown Street and tried their chicken cheesesteak on a wrap for the first time. I must say, I enjoyed it even more than when it’s served on a bun! The flavors were delicious and the wrap added a nice twist to the classic dish.

The staff at Penn Station were moderately friendly, and the location was clean and well-maintained. The food was fresh and prepared quickly, and I was impressed with the overall service.

I will definitely be returning to Penn Station East Coast Subs on Brown Street again in the future. The experience was enjoyable, and I look forward to trying more of their menu items. Highly recommended!

Had a lovely, squished oregano and oil sub from Penn Station East Coast Subs. I didn’t know that oregano could burn!
Also enjoyed the wonderful, uncooked fries and the disclaimer sticker advising me how to cook my own food.

OVERALL:
You will have great food, but they’re a business (and hum0ns), and some times mistakes happen – so, like anywhere, check your bag before you leave.

PROS:
The food is always tasting great and fresh.
Staff is polite and always working hard

NEUTRAL:
Order ahead, great food takes time – I don’t consider this fast food, so expect a small wait if you didn’t order online.

CONS:
When you walk in, you will probably be ignored for a bit – they’re working, I get it – but one of the 4-5 people just saying, “Hey, welcome!” or “We’ll be right with you,” would make it less uncomfortable than staring and wondering what to do.

I ordered ahead of time so I went to the end to grab it. The guy never asked my name and made 2x more subs… turns out, mine was done and wrapped the entire time. I waited an extra 10 mins for no reason and my sub was luke warm by then.

Second time it’s happened, but I asked for no mushrooms, and they gave me some HEEPING mushies last night and a TON of pizza sauce with zero napkins.

Last night was the first time I didn’t finish a Penn Station Cheesesteak in my entire life because it was all mushrooms, pizza sauce, and bread.

Again, 95% of the time, you’ll have a great experience here, but they’re hum0n, stuff happens.

So for that reason, 4 of 5 stars – they’re pretty consistent but they’ve messed up my order a couple times.

The bread for the subs was really fresh and each sandwich had a good amount of meat. The fries were only semi-warm. The cookie was the best part! You could tell it was made the day it was ordered. It was sugary, thick, and big enough to share!

This location is…pretty gross. The computers and card readers are the nastiest I’ve ever seen. There were lots of dirty tables when it wasn’t busy (4:40 pm). I was going to get the monthly special with the fries, but the grease was darker than me. I asked how often/when they changed it, and the guy didn’t know. The turkey avocado was messy and not that good. I did get it cold though. This is my fault for not going to Jimmy John’s like I’d planned. I had never been to a PS and probably won’t go again. Not outside of Philadelphia anyway.

Gotta say there was a weird vibe. The manager was standing out in front and it looked sketchy. I was the only customer when I walked but service was slower than it needs to be. That being said, the Dagwood was tasty and I was given a free lemonade from their fresh squeezed. Order taker was super friendly.

Penn Station is usually very good and worth the extra over other sub places…. But not this location. Choose another Penn Station to enjoy your meal.
We went 1/6 for lunch, fries were not hot. The teriyaki chicken sub was good, but not its best. The dining area was chilly, the bathroom was not clean.
Just skip this location, leave it for the college kids.

Afternoon on October 15 I visited the store on Brown street. One of the workers, probably the manager, spent his time talking to a friend who had come in to order. Finally came back to the register to take orders. Then went back to the table to continue his conversation. When I leave I walked past a lot of litter on the floor. Instead of socializing it would have been more appropriate to spend his time sweeping the floor to make the restaurant more presentable since he was not working.
