TOP-TIER BAR FARE IN AN INCLUSIVE, FUN ATMOSPHERE
What an amazing discovery! The food is top-tier upscale bar fare—the shishito peppers, in particular, were an unexpected delight. Beyond the menu, it’s clearly a space that welcomes everyone; they proudly display an inclusivity badge on the door.
The service is fast and friendly; if something is slightly off, they fix it immediately. The atmosphere feels like a cool pool bar with fun decor and a dog-friendly covered patio in the back.
Pro tip: Keep an eye on the corner above the bar—when the green light is on, an order is ready for pickup!

We stopped in Jan 26 after our daughter’s horse riding at Knob Hill Ranch. Our kind of place, funky, local and not a chain, very much not a chain. Fast friendly service on drinks and food. Great burgers, great drink selection. Fun hole in the wall place!

This is pretty close to Joshua tree national park. A fair amount of parking, too. I came here close to starving. A fun tavern. Coming in was a little weird. I kind of stood awkwardly for a little bit and then the bartender waved me over. She was extremely busy and seemed like someone had called out, but was doing her absolute best. I felt bad for her, she seemed overworked, but maybe that was an off day. She gave me suggestions, and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. The menu was pretty creative, and had some great items. I was immediately drawn to the pretzel balls. I’m a fiend for pretzels, and these made me crazy. The cheese dip (another thing I’m crazy about, cheese), was also great, and was exactly what I needed. I also got the “Tiny Pony Burger”. Of course, I had to ask if the burger was tiny, and was great! Not overcooked and I liked the chipotle mayo that went with it. I recommend this place if you need to fuel up and if you like pretzels, like me.

Enjoyable experience all around. It’s a fun environment for everyone. The staff are very friendly, the menu has a wide variety to select from. The smash burgers are delicious. I love their creative cocktail menu as well. They also have a Photo Booth in the front. We will definitely be back!

Amazing service and atmosphere and friendly staff. Servers were swamped on a weekend night so give yourself some time here. Unique menu, but the food quality was a little sub par. Burger was super dry with a stale bun and the veg “chili?” Was super bland.

The chicken wings are soooo good as well as the sandwich. The grits is well made but not my type.
Plus, the vibe here is pretty old school and cool.

We had such a fantastic time at The Tiny Pony! It’s a super cool, eclectic little spot with a funky, laid-back vibe that immediately makes you feel at home.

We started with the Brunchie Wildboar tots (the special of the day) and wow — absolutely amazing! I had the veggie burger, hubby went for the fried chicken sandwich with fries, and everything was cooked to perfection. Flavorful, fresh, and just the right portions. The kind of food that’s so good and drippy there’s a reason there’s a full paper towel roll on the table! Haha! Also great Bloody Mary’s!!

The service was wonderful — friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Between the food, the vibe, and the people, it’s definitely the kind of place you want to linger.

Highly recommend if you’re in the area and want something a little different but absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

We stopped by the Tiny Pony Tavern after a morning in Joshua Tree National Park. The vibes were off the charts. The food was tasty, but pretty expensive for small portions. We were not disappointed, but did feel like we left spending a significant amount for not that much food. Would recommend going, though!!

Great veggie burger, i think it’s black bean base, small (and messy) portions, so some may want an appetizer too, good sauce options and cool ambiance, would recommend!

Tiny Pony completely blew us away.

From the outside, we honestly did not know what to expect, but once inside it was AMAZING. The staff was incredible, welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. They did an awesome job accommodating my gluten and dairy allergies without making it feel complicated. I had the falafel on a bed of greens since the gluten-free bun contained dairy, and they even had vegan tzatziki which was such a win.

The food was delicious, the mocktail list was fantastic, and the vibe was next level. Disco balls, a photobooth, fun energy, and a space that feels playful and joyful without trying too hard.

This place is fun, thoughtful, and absolutely worth a stop. We would go back in a heartbeat.
