Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I had never eaten her before, figured we’d give it a try and wasn’t disappointed. We got a double burger and large fries. My husband and I shared the meal and we left satisfied. The fries were phenomenal. The burger very tasty! Would definition eat here again.

It was ok. I have never had it before. The food was ok, the bun was stale. Fries where salty and under cooked. But the customer service was great and friendly. Every company has off days. Plan to try again based on the customer service I would try it again. The young lady went and looked for a Halloween cup for me. It was January 2026.

when you dine in and its not real busy the employees are far away from counter due to how the place is set up. the door severely needs a dinger, bell something to indicate a customer has entered and for employees safety at night. the burgers and chicken sandwich is good. thumbs down on chocolate shake as its not flavorful at all and sand colored, but the drink cups are huge and good value there. i like a greasy burger so i usually get the patty melt

I ordered on my lunch hour and recieved the food fairly quickly for the volume of customers. When I got the food it was incorrectly made, I made it known and the manager Savanah was very helpful and prompt to making it right. She made a bad experience into a good one for a repeat customer. Tried to come in for a door dash and a bag was tied to the doors it popped open a bit and someone said the lobby is closed no sign says the lobby closes says 24 hours not the first time what is going on then pull to dt and have 8 cars not really moving already been in line for 15 min time is money if you cant staff it then don’t have it open. Customers should not have to wait with in house or door dash or online and least not hour nothing quick about it here maybe the manager needs to work at night and coach the team and night manager to inspire them to do better. Cars driving forward to have orders taken and not drive customers away. Got no call back got nothing not even sure they read this or are concerned about their customer service

Not very busy, was with another family on way to silver dollar city for parade. Order did not come out until est. 20 mins after the other family had got theirs and ate! When asked what was taking so long was told the chicken we had ordered. When we did receive our food it was missing 1 out of 5 meals ordered chicken strips…went back to see bout the order and was told again wait on chicken…. Got that meal est 5 mins later stips very small and only got 2 1/2…literally half a small strip and fries cold… For $80 and total hour + visit…not the Whataburger I expected…

If I could, I would give it minus STARS. Waited in the drive thru lane for over 30 minutes, we were the 14th car. They forgot our fries, had to go inside to get them. They were cold, old, stale and tasteless. The burgers were so greasy that the bag was dripping grease. The grease tastes old and left a horrible taste in our mouths. Wasn’t worth the $30.

The staff wasnt real busy. The tables and drink counters were dirty. The bathroom was clean. This was the first time i have ever ate at a Whataburger restaurant and i wouldnt recommend it to anyone. First off they packaged everyones burger on the try like it was a prank, as soon as two of us went to pick up our burgers it fell apart and made a mess because it looked as though the packaging was wrapped around the whole burger but it was mostly the top of it. My bun on my burger was wet and soggy and fell apart. My fries were not even warm, it was like a mcdonalds fries that have set out for awhile.

Literally the absolute worst experience I have ever had in a whataburger in my life. The manager was rude, unprofessional, and instead of being politely knowledgeable, chose instead to approach every situation as an arrogant know-it-all. He spoke to the employees and the customers the same. Im surprised anyone chooses to stay as I definitely wouldnt work for such a bully. The food was good and the rest of the poor staff were doing their best to just make it through their shifts. I can promise you if I walk in again and hes working I will immediately leave.
