Tried for the first time today on Taco Tuesday! and we loved it. All fresh ingredients including tortillas! Those birria tacos were amazing. Salsa and fresh juices were also very good. Regardless of the busy Tuesday, staffs were very friendly and nice! We will come back again.

Amazing tacos!!! The meat is so flavorful and they don’t spare on it either, such big portions of meat in each taco and each flavor is so good in its own way. It is pretty pricey but definitely worth it, TJ tacos is across the street and they have the same pricing but their tacos aren’t good at all for that kind of price. Pend your money here it’s definitely worth it

This was my first time here. I got the Adobada tacos with everything on it, and bottle Coca-Cola. The Tacos were really good. They are street taco tortillas but they do fill it up which is nice. Unfortunately the cola from the fridge wasnt very cold which was a bummer. The biggest downside was the outdoor seating. There was lots of flies all over the tables and chairs. They had those smelly fly trap jugs hanging from the top of the tents. You order inside but your served outside. Which I cant help but notice that flies do land on everything out there so….. chances are they probably land on the food. I didn’t see any employees go outside to wipe the tables or change the trash which was over flowing. Overall I don’t think I will come eat here just because of the sanitation concerns for me. If you do order food I suggest you take it too go.

When you visit Escondido, you need to check out Frida! It’s a great spot for Mexican food with a nice ambiance. I recommend trying the beef and pork tacos, and their strawberry juice is super refreshing! The space is big, so it’s perfect for relaxing with friends and family. The cashier was friendly and helpful, answering my questions and suggesting their best sellers. The only downside is that the outdoor area could use some attention, there were a lot of flies, which made it hard to fully enjoy our meal without constantly guarding our food and drinks.

Shockingly delicious street tacos, and my husband had a torta he said was a 8.5/10. High praise from him. I love the salsa options, and watching everything get cooked in front of you at their al fresco kitchen was authentic feeling.
I thought be asada could use a little more seasoning but my birria tacos were wonderful. No consumme, which is strange, but did not detract from the experience.

What happen to this place? It has went down hill. My el pastor taco were so dry and tasted old. Its like they are using week old meat or something. We used to here frequently but thevfood is off now. Tortillas were horrible. I threw my food away. My wife and kids felt the same. Won’t be coming back. You guys are getting lazy.

Al Pastor was pretty good. Carne asada was also fairly decent. Not the best I’ve ever had but good food. The strawberry lemonade was surprisingly really good. Not a fan of the setup. At 10am just one grill man and had to wait for each order to be completed. Al Pastor is not carved off fresh, so that was disappointing. Parking sucks, so just be aware of that.

Always delicious tacos. My go to is Carne Asada, it’s such a delicious char flavor. Fresh salsas and guacamole hits the spot. Taco Tuesday is always busy but worth the wait.

Finally got around to eating at this place after so many recommendations and I was not disappointed! The food was absolutely fantastic and the aguas frescas were delicious and not too sweet. We ordered our tacos and were then directed outside to have them made right in front of us. The salsa bar was fully stocked with tasty salsas, veggies, and limes. Great atmosphere, staff and food. Would highly recommend!
