I have been coming to this Rubio’s for years. Last Thursday I got a couple of fish tacos for lunch-when I got my food home and opened the wrapper I found a hair inside of one of my tacos. When I reported the issue over the phone the manager asked if I would like them to remake it for me. I was kind of psyched out so I just asked for a refund-the manager told me I had to come all the way back to the restaurant to process the refund and didn’t offer any further compensation, not even a gift card. While mistakes do happen I have unfortunately lost my trust in this Rubio’s location and don’t see myself returning. If you’re making food for someone you need to be more careful.

We used to come weekly on Tuesdays, but noticed cleanliness and customer service was declining. We decided to try again and were pleased. The food was delicious as always! The tables have been resurfaced so they weren’t sticky and there were no gnats in the salsa/soda area. Glad to see there have been improvements! Friendly staff and delicious menu options.

Only reason I came here was because I had a $10 off coupon from a couple years ago and very glad I did.
Got the Taco Trio – 2 grilled chicken and 1 steak taco with guacamole and cilantro/ onion. Didn’t want the cheese and salsa and all of that.
Chicken was perfectly cooked and so was the Steak. Quite a good loaded amount of meat on the tacos, and a generous amount of guacamole as well. Added some mild and spicy salsa and it was beautiful. Salsa was definitely needed because it tasted a little plain on its own.
Definitely like the Chicken Tacos more.
Corn tortillas were also really fresh.
Husband got the Burrito Especial with Steak Cauliflower Rice. I tried it and it was amazing! So so so flavorful! Very generous amount of cauliflower rice inside as well. No salsa or any sauce needed here at all. Everything was so good on its own.
Friend also got a taco trio with the shrimp and mahi mahi version. He also enjoyed and finished it all up real quick!

Its amazing how a single bad experience and poor interaction can swing my opinion on what was previosuly one of mt favorite places so heavily. Manager was more concerned with whether or not I had been succesfully charged for a revolting meal I didn’t eat and had to replace with a second one, than if I had a good experience/enjoyed the food. The conversation was exactly: “Did you find everything ok?” “No, this was one of the most disgusting things I’ve had in my life” “But they did charge you for this?” “Yes I was charged” “Ok.” Quality and price don’t matter when the leadership just doesn’t care…
