So me and my gorgeous wife had to return some things and decided to try the Nectar Cafe. This was a great choice! The restaurant is quite and clean with cute decor. She enjoyed the bacon omelet (Carmelized onions, peppers and Gouda cheese). I had the Spinach and Lavender omelet. ( Egg whites, spinach, peppers, tomatoes with goat cheese) Both cam with a sweet potato hash. She also had a strawberry mimosa and I had the strawberry field for drinks. Everything was delicious.

Many absolutely delicious vegan options! We enjoyed our lunch so much we returned a few days later. Charming atmosphere and reasonable prices. I highly recommend the Tu “No Fish” sandwich and the Powerhouse sandwich. Can’t wait to go back and try their other vegan options next summer!

If you are a vegetarian or vegan, or just looking for something out of the ordinary, Nectar is your place for lunch in Lewis Delaware.
The menu has a eclectic entrées and sides. You can get a Vegan tuna salad substitute made from chickpeas and Nori. It definitely has that seaside flavor. You can get a side of kale chips.
this is nestled halfway down a little alley, but is much larger inside than you would think. Plenty of seating.
decor is kind of French country. Kitchen meets antique dealer. My only complaint is that my chair had hard wooden slats for a seat which was uncomfortable.
staff were friendly and everything came out very quickly.
that I mentioned this is also a juice bar. They have some just fruit juice but if you are adventurous like me, you will try the root smoothie with sweet potato beets, ginger, and other ingredients.
Parking is a problem during the busy summer season because this is a seaside town with a well developed shopping and restaurant District. You might have to circle the block a few times and find parking a couple blocks away. But that will definitely be worth it as this place really has amazing food.
And top it off with their amazing chocolate avocado torte. This is served with fresh fruit in season.

Nectar is a gem in Lewes! It has a warm, old farmhouse kitchen vibe that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. This cozy spot is perfect for breakfast or lunch, and their fresh juices are amazing — they purée the fruit right when you order, and you can really taste the difference. The food is consistently delicious, and the pastries and cookies at the counter are a must-try. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which adds to the charm. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but totally in line with similar places in the area. There’s table and bar seating, plus a comfy couch in front of a fireplace — perfect for relaxing with a coffee or juice. Highly recommend!

Breakfast menu is great! Love the eggs Benedict, pancakes, and lattes. I wish they took reservations because the wait is always long. The front area gets packed with people putting their names down for the wait.

Such a cute little breakfast spot! We were seated right away and enjoyed a freshly-made cappuccino and latte. I had the American Breakfast while my husband had the Spanish Omelette. Both were very tasty and hit the spot highly recommend!

Delightful little restaurant with Big Attitude! Cozy, rustic lounge atmosphere. The food and staff complement the atmosphere to create an unique experience from start to end. The avocado toast was well prepared and tasty. And…look in the picture below at the unique way they serve their juices! The staff, including the owner, was present but not overbearing

Another great find in Lewes DE that I think is worth the drive from the other beach cities to experience.
The first time I came here yearssss ago, I had one of their famous bloody Mary’s that was packed with bacon, shrimp and other goodies – an entire meal in itself. No photo this time around but highly recommend trying at least one.
The decor is cozy and inviting, much like their mother’s restaurant Station on Kings, or vice versa as this place came first.
The service is quick and the staff very accommodating. And the food is great too. No matcha here, but if you’re a coffee drinker, you’re in luck. @Nectar, can you offer matcha too?
We had a lovely breakfast here on our last day in town and really enjoyed our experience. I can’t wait to come back during my next Lewes visit.
