Extremely personal and pleasant customer service. My son wanted something good to eat and came upon Ladi Di’s House of Soul Food. Not only was the food exemplary, from the moment we stepped on until the moment we got our food, we felt like family! The ribs, greens, macaroni and cheese felt and tasted like home. Everything was GREAT! I strongly recommend Lady Di’s House of Soul Food! We will be back!

I went to Lady Di’s after coming home on a flight. I read a few reviews and decided to give them a try. I actually had the chance to meet Lady Di and her daughter who was running the front counter. Both Lady Di and her daughter are very friendly and pleasant to talk to. This is not a sit down restaurant, only carry out which has been open about 2 months. I ordered ribs with a side of mac and cheese and candied yams with a side of peach cobbler. The peach cobbler was not available so they suggested caramel cake. So I got caramel cake. I was excited to try this food but I had 40 minutes to drive to get home. I settled for eating the caramel vake in the car. Lady Di’s caramel cake had good flavor to both the cake and frosting but the frosting puddled at the bottom of the container. It did not maintain consistency between the slices although the flavor was good. The candied yams weren’t candied but cut up sweet potatoes, the mac and cheese has good flavor but was a little dry. I would have loved to try the peach cobbler. I will attach pictures of what I got for $32. I wish Lady Di the best in her future endeavors.

I had to update my rating due to the absolute best customer service I have honestly ever experienced. They were extremely nice and accommodating and I can’t thank them enough. The turkey chops were remade as I was advised that the ones previously were not their usual cut. They were cooked well and tasted so much better. Yams and greens were good and the Mac and cheese was cooked a little too well for my liking but I heard that a lot of people really like the Mac and cheese. Overall a good experience.

Me and my BFF stopped he is a truck driver. She was the only place open and the only person in there cooking and taking orders so had to go for what I had options due to holiday but I would waited till the next day to go somewhere. Chicken not was seasoned, rice was like mash potatoes, the mac n cheese was ok and the greens tasted like glory greens out of can.

Wow, a place I’ll become a regular at!! The food taste like grandma back there cooking with love! Usually, I have to drive all the way to Detroit to get mom like food. The greens were delicious, the Mac and cheese done well, yams hit the spot, and the turkey chops took me home price wasn’t bad! Only thing is they close too early!

First time at this restaurant and the service was amazing. Our family came in from Kentucky and a couple cities Lady D treated us and treated them like family. They had a blast. The food was amazing hot fresh who was the first customers of the day until now my family still talks about everything.
