Traveling Talkin Toy
I’ve been hearing great reviews about the sandwiches and it was delicious. The roll was soft n fluffy. Deli meats were yummy but i liked the toppings with the oil n vinegar drizzle.
Also had an egg roll but I ate it before I could snap a pic. Lightly fried, crispy and filling.

In my quest for new places, I came to the sub shop I haven’t been to for 50 years. The Super Sub was really good although I can’t remember what I ate on my last trip. Signage looks the same, but the console video games aren’t here. Oh well , times change. Enjoy.

Amazing!! Where else can you get a fresh made sub on fresh house baked bread ANDDD home made egg rolls !! I’ve had this place a few times in the last few weeks and every time was amazing!! The “super sub” is delicious but do yourself a favor and add extra turkey !! The egg rolls are delicious as well !!
Only issue I had was when I ordered a chicken sub .. it came with fried chicken patties similar to a Mcchicken and not deli sliced chicken .. caught me off guard but was tasty !!

This place is iconic. Its been around forever and is the stuff of Memphis legend. The bread is unique in a wonderful homemade way. The owner is a character, but be patient, greatness requires some grace. They do not take cards, but the food is worth the fact that they are a cash only place. I highly reccomend the toasted bun subs.

Me, my family, and friends have eaten at The Super Sub Shop for decades. The bread is unbelievably delicious, it tastes homemade. The sandwiches are all so good. Take cash though. They only accept cash and there is no ATM. It is worth it though!
